I don’t really know what this says about my cooking, but my family gets so excited when I pop a Michael Angelo’s entree into the oven or microwave. Especially the meat lasagna, they just love it so much. Needless to say, my answer was a resounding YES when asked to try the new Michael Angelo’s Italian Flatbread. I’m no dummy.
Michael Angelo’s Italian Flatbread
You might already know that I live way out in the country. Delivery pizza is not something that is available to us here, so when my family wants pizza we do frozen. Fortunately, there are some really good frozen pizza options in the grocery store these days. I am thrilled with the introduction of Michael Angelo’s Flatbread. They are perfect for a party or simply anytime you want a snack. I traveled home from Florida earlier this week and returned after a long drive completely famished. My mom was nice enough to heat up a flatbread pizza for me and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
The new Michael Angelo’s Italian Flatbread comes in 3 varieties:
The Pepperoni & Salami Flatbread includes pepperoni, salami, authentic mozzarella and imported Italian Romano cheese on a spicy arrabbiata tomato sauce.
The Mediterranean Flatbread is a vegetarian option featuring artichokes, roasted corn, roasted red peppers, authentic mozzarella and imported Italian Romano cheese on a delicate cream sauce.
The Sausage & Mushroom Flatbread is a classic, topped with sliced Italian sausage, mushrooms, caramelized onions, authentic mozzarella and imported Italian Romano cheese on a vine-ripened traditional tomato sauce.
All three varieties are currently available at Walmart stores.
So far we’ve only picked up the Pepperoni & Salami Flatbread, but if it’s any indication of the other varieties I am sure they are great. My family loves the thin crispy crust of these flatbreads, and they are loaded up with toppings… Delicious!
