Mistletoe in Juneau

The cozy months are finally here! Now is the perfect time to relax and indulge in heartwarming romances. Hallmark Publishing is making it easy this year with their brand-new holiday book releases.

That’s right! Hallmark Publishing is releasing four (4) NEW heartwarming books: On Christmas Avenue (9.21), Mistletoe in Juneau (10.19), Wrapped Up in Christmas Hope (10.26), and Christmas in Evergreen: Bells are Ringing (11.2).

Did you read the first release, On Christmas Avenue? It was so so good y’all! I was lucky enough to receive an advance copy of the next release Mistletoe in Juneau by Dahlia Rose.

I’m a little more than three-quarters through and am SO in crazy in love with this book. It’s been such a busy weekend for me, but I cannot get enough of this book. I started reading last night and thought I was going to pull an all nighter with it – yet sleep prevailed. I’m planning on finishing it up tonight and cannot wait! I think I’ll be calling it a day rather early. And, I’ll be sure to share my thoughts about the ending with you on social media.

As an often stressed out mom, Hallmark romances are such a calming voice for me. Speaking of a calming voice, these new Hallmark holiday book releases are available on Audiobook. They are also available in Paperback and via e-book.

Hallmark is always such a big part of the holiday season for me. I know all my fellow Hallmarkies will agree that these brand-new holiday book releases are the perfect way to kick off the holiday season. What are you looking foward to this holiday season?

It’s never too early to start gearing up for the holidays and what better way to start celebrating than with a good book or thinking ahead about the perfect present for your loved ones! I know what all my BFFs will be getting for Christmas this year!

I’m such a sucker for a heart-warming movie like Mistletoe in Juneau.

On October 19, Mistletoe in Juneau will be relased.

Here’s a bit about Mistletoe in Juneau:

Danni’s a social media influencer who’s way out of her element. She sort-of broke up with her boyfriend-slash-manager, and she escaped her fast-paced life in L.A. to spend Christmas with an old friend in Juneau, Alaska. Danni takes in the beauty of the scenery and the warmth of the community…and she’s drawn to the local sheriff.

Before Declan was the sheriff, he was in the Army. An IED explosion cost him his leg…and his fiancée, who couldn’t deal with the injury. He knows Danni’s a city girl, while he loves the Alaskan wilderness. Could two very different people find what their hearts are looking for?

This is such a sweet romance and an easy read. You will fall in love with Danni and Declan. I sure did! Since I am a social media influencer myself and am engaged to a man in law enforcement, I knew I was going to enjoy reading this story. I especially fell in love Danni’s character and was so eager to read every next page of the book. I think all I need now is a trip to the magical town of Juneau, Alaska…and maybe the next two Hallmark Publishing holiday book releases to tuck into my luggage!

I’m obsessed with all things Christmas, including baking cookies, taking holiday photos and Hallmark romances! This photo (above) was taken last Christmas and is one of my favorites.

One of Hallmark’s secret ingredients is bringing two people together that normally wouldn’t have and I can totally relate to this in my own relationship. I truly believe that some people are just meant to be together and sometimes against all odds. And, opposites truly do attract.

Dahlia Rose did such an amazing job with this sweet romance and bringing the characters Danni and Declan to life on the pages. You’ll feel like you’re right there in Alaska.

Dahlia Rose is a USA Today best-selling multi genre author from Urban fantasy to Romance with a hint of Caribbean spice. She was born and raised on the Caribbean island of Barbados and now currently lives in Charlotte, North Carolina. Her life revolves around her five kids, who she affectionately nicknamed “The Children of the Corn” and her husband and longtime love who is also a honorable retired Army veteran. She has a love of dark fantasy, sci-fi, and the things that go bump in the night. With over seven dozen books published Dahlia has become a reader favorite. Not only because of her writing but her vivacious attitude in talking to her fans online and at various events. Her books feature strong heroines with a Caribbean or African American culture, that is showcased in the vibrancy of her words. Books and writing are her biggest passions, and she hopes to open your imagination to the unknown between the pages of her books.

I really hope Hallmark Publishing continues to release holiday romance novels based on our favorite Hallmark Original Movies.

Get yourself ready for the holidays with additional recipes inspired by each story!

In Mistletoe in Juneau, Declan owes Danni an apology. So he walks into his mom’s bakery and asks her for “a really good cake recipe—as simple as you’ve got.” His mom gives him this one. He’s a little doubtful about the “secret ingredient”—mayonnaise—but the cake is delicious, and Danni forgives him immediately. Even if you’re like Declan and don’t have any baking experience, this moist chocolate cake will win anybody over. Get the Super Simple Amazing Chocolate Cake recipe here.

  • I am most excited about all the holiday baking and crafts I get to do with my daughters that are 6 and 8 years old. We always bake and decorate gingerbread cookies. We also love making cookies and candies for family and friends. My daughters love drawing pictures and making holiday cards for our neighbors and sticking it in their mailboxes as a surprise. I always try to also find some holiday craft ideas on Pinterest to do with them. Our family loves watching Christmas movies together. I love watching Hallmark romantic holiday movies with my husband.
