Don’t get me wrong, the BlogHer 2012 conference was serious business for me. Many great connections were made, but it was also a chance for mom to let her hair down a bit and do fun things like party with a zombie. The last few days I have been trying to catch up on my sleep and rest my swollen feet, but I would like to share with you some of the sillier things I did at BlogHer.
Mom Partied With A Zombie
Mom Partied With A Zombie at Getting Gorgeous Event!
At the Kids Live Well Party with Linnette from A Kid’s Fun Review.
{Are we the only ones wearing our chef hats?}
I enjoyed tea and scones at the National Geographic Kids event. I loved this party!
The Southwest Airlines party was at the beautiful Bryant Park. I had so much fun with some of my best blogging buddies!
Don’t you have to have your picture taken with a celebrity when visiting NYC? I briefly met Vanessa Minnillo at the SocialLuxe party. It was such a glamorous event.
This one is so silly that I almost didn’t share it. We had so much fun at the Hasbro Party and danced until they were ready to push us out the door!
Are you ready for Christmas? Hallmark is and they had the Atrium Suite at The London Hotel all decked out and ready for Christmas holiday. I got so much inspiration from them!
A lot of my trip seems like a blur. I can’t tell you how many times I found myself making my way through the crowds in Time Square. It was a surreal experience for this country girl.
The BlogHer conference was an experience like no other for me. The swag was great, but even more important are the friendships that were formed and the connections made. I had a chance to chat with some amazing brands and hopefully will be sharing them with you in the coming months.
A big THANK YOU to our sponsors Wines by Wives and Gift Caddie for making my BlogHer conference trip a reality!

I’m glad you had such a good time! Looks like a blast 😀
Blogher Conference looks like it was a lot of fun! The pic of you and the “zombie” is hilarious…such a cool costume 🙂
Angela you are too funny!! I love all the pics- so jealous I couldn’t be there!
Such fun events and such a good time. You guys really got around. I’m really surprised at the kids live well event. I promoted them in Chicago on an extensive event and wasn’t invited to that. That’s upsetting.
Looks like you had an awesome time. Not sure if we connected but maybe next yr. See you in CHICAGO!!
I know how you feel. There are a few companies that I have done a lot of work with and did not get an invite. I just keep telling myself that they can’t invite everyone. I had a blast at the parties I did attend! I will look for you in Chicago for sure!
It was so much fun! And although, yes, it was about making connections, it was great to hang out with you girls and let my hair down!!
I always have so much fun with you!
Looks like you had a great time! It was great seeing you though we didn’t get much time to actually talk or anything, which was a bummer.
I was seeing you all over the place but was always on the run. I skipped some of the later parties to get my essential beauty sleep and think I missed out on a lot of time with my bloggy friends like you. I don’t think I could have survived the trip with any less sleep though! Next conference will will be sure to catch up!
That Hasbro party would have been so fun. Everything looks fun. Thanks for sharing Angela. I hope to go one day!
I had a wonderful time at BlogHer too. I was at the Hasbro party too and it was so much fun! The Hallmark party looks like it was so much fun and like the view was incredible!
It looks like you had an awesome time at BlogHER. I can’t wait to attend my first blogging conference. It looks like such a fun time, and a chance to meet those you’ve been interacting online with for a long time.
Sounds like you had an awesome time!!! I have never been to NY but grew up in Chicago. I feel for ya with those crowds!
I <3 the Mom with a Zombie pic!!!!
