You might have heard it mentioned that I am heading back to class in a few days. I’ve been accepted to attend the Monsters University ‘School of Scaring’. It’s really a chance of a lifetime Disney/Pixar media event where I’ll get to visit Pixar headquarters and see some early footage of the movie “Monsters University”. After receiving an official Welcome Alumni letter from the schools Dean and selecting courses from the Monsters University web site, I’m really starting to wonder if Monsters University is a real place. Like most girls, my biggest concern about the first day of class is what I am going to wear – all the way down to my nail polish. I’ve decided to go with nails art inspired by one of my favorite Monsters University characters- the big, huggable, scary Sully.
I am no artist by any stretch of the imagination, but this Sully look was very simple to create – even for a novice like me. The best part about it is that it doesn’t have to be perfect. I think it will be fun to paint the girls nails before we visit the theater to see Monsters University as a family.
To create the look I did the base coat using Revlon Color Stay polish in the color Coastal Surf. To create Sully’s dots, I used Wet n Wild Megalast polish in the color On a Trip/En voyage. To do the dots I simply used the base of the brush to dab circles onto my nails. Easy peasy!

Note: I was invited to attend the Disney/Pixar Freshman Orientation press trip in April, and all my expenses will be covered.

That is incredibly cute! I generally only use those nail foils these days – so much easier (and cleaner!) than painting them myself.
