Nature's Sleep Mattress Review

disclosure

There are some things I have been doing to improve my overall health: getting more sleep, a healthier diet, drinking more water, and being more active. Getting enough sleep is something I have struggled with as long as I can remember. I have tried everything from herbal teas, to listening to relaxation tapes before bedtime. Nothing seemed to work. The combination of menopause and being a constant worrier has made it especially difficult for me to sleep well the last couple of years. Then I was given the opportunity to become a Nature’s Sleep Ambassador, and I am not exaggerating when I say this has been a life changing experience for me. I first received a contour memory foam pillow to review. I couldn’t believe how much better my neck and shoulders felt in the morning. It was such a tease, leaving me eager to try out a memory foam mattress. At long last my wish came true, and I now get to share my Nature’s Sleep mattress review with you.

Nature's Sleep Mattress Review

{It’s impossible to get a picture of this mattress without a dog stealing the scene.}

It’s been about 4 months since I began sleeping on the new mattress. I wish I had known that sleeping on a memory foam mattress would make such a difference for me. I would beg, borrow, and steal if I had to do it all over again. If I’m being truthful though, I did do a little begging to get into the Nature’s Sleep Ambassadors program. I fall asleep faster these days. I sleep more sound, and awaken feeling refreshed without aches and pains. The only thing that keeps me up at night is the occasional hot flash accompanied by night sweats, and there is just no getting around that.

The bed I have been sleeping on is the Nature’s Sleep 8 inch Jupiter Memory Foam Mattress. It’s not as thick as most of the other Nature’s Sleep mattresses, but it’s just as comfortable. I have two small dogs who like to sleep with me, so a mattress that sits lower to the floor is a better option for me. An important thing to note about the mattress is the plush antimicrobial cover that is easily removed and washed, providing a layer of protection against spills and accidents.

I made a fun little video to show you my secret to a good nigh’s sleep.

If you have never slept on memory foam before, it takes a little getting used to. There is a firmness to the mattress that is not to be confused with being hard. As soon as your weight is applied to the mattress, you sink right into it. As soon as you move, it expands back into it’s original shape. The mattress naturally conforms to your body weight and temperature. It’s actually pretty neat!

This mattress is ideal for those that suffer from illnesses that cause sleeplessness. It’s also ideal for women going through menopause, much like myself. I have reviewed many products since I started blogging back in 2009, and I just have to say that nothing has improved my quality of life more than my Nature’s Sleep memory foam mattress.
