Thanks Pampers for sponsoring this post. All opinions are my own.
Remembering my son’s “firsts” always brings me joy as I relive those moments again. The first heartbeat, the first ultrasound image, the first cry, the first successful feeding, the first diaper blowout, the first tooth! So many firsts. The first solid food feeding, the first crawl, the first steps, the first smash cake. The list can go on and on and I still think about those moments as if they all happened yesterday.
As the #1 choice of hospitals in North America, Pampers Swaddlers comforts and protects babies through their entire journey of amazing firsts. Pampers understands there is nothing more joyful or rewarding than the precious first-time moments. In honor of this special journey, Pampers released a “Firsts” video that highlights those wonderful “first” experience together.
A few days ago, I was able to have a celebratory viewing party thanks to Pampers. Two of my friends are currently pregnant and the rest of us are moms already, so it was nice to be able to all get together and celebrate and remember these “firsts” moments with each other. Of course having our kids there made the celebration even more fun as they were all very excited! I mean, kids get excited over balloons and decorations for ANY occasion, right?
Before the party, I spent my time decorating the living room and getting all of the goodie bags together which I thought were super thoughtful because they included diapers and wipes. I don’t know about you, but if I was leaving a party with diapers, I would be a happy camper! Haha, mom life. During the party, we spent our time enjoying each other’s company and talking about our favorite “firsts” moments with our kids. Remembering those first moments really helped us connect with each other on a deeper level that I think only parents can relate to.
We watched the Pampers “Firsts” video together with our kids and let me just say that a lot of tissues were used! There was not a dry eye in the room. We all thought it was really well put together and seriously helped me relive those “first” moments with our own kids. We laughed and cried and it was just a good time overall. It makes you think that you’re actually doing something right as a parent and helps you realize that the most important thing is just to be there for your kids throughout their journey of “firsts”.
We promptly ate together and even had a dance party so the kids can have fun, too! It was such a nice time and I was so happy I got to host it because spending time with my friends and family is so important to me. My two friends that are pregnant (not pictured) were even more excited about their baby’s arrivals and talking to them about some of the “firsts” moments that they will experience made them feel so happy and ready to take on the world. I really wish them the best with their pregnancies because I know they will enjoy motherhood just like I do.
Pampers even sent me this super cute Hostess gift that seriously gave me baby fever all over again. Even though Zach will be turning 4 soon, I still can’t wrap my head around how fast he’s grown over these past few years and this gift made me think about his newborn months again. Walking down memory lane, thanks to Pampers!
Pampers is now available through size 6, making it available throughout your baby’s entire diapering years. Pampers Swaddlers have blanket-like softness and superior comfort to care of babies during their precious “first” moments. Pampers Swaddlers has up to 12 hours of over night protection and Absorb Away Liner® to pull wetness and mess away from babies’ skin. Some of my guests and I completed a review of Pampers Swaddlers diapers at Pampers.com. I’m sure they would love to hear your thoughts too!
Celebrating your child’s first is always such a incredible moment for both parent and child and these moments, no matter big or small, should be cherished and celebrated.
Create and share your own journey of Firsts at pampersfirsts.com. Pampers has developed a micro-site that will allow you to upload images of your baby from your computer or pick from your Facebook gallery and create a 15 second video to share out with friends on Twitter or Facebook. The video will highlight the baby photos and all their first milestone moments. I love this!
