Like most kids her age, Maddie often has her fingers in her mouth which is why I was so glad to learn of Piggy Paint. Using Piggy Paint non-toxic nail polish and nail pens means that we don’t have to worry about Maddie ingesting harmful chemicals.
What makes Piggy Paint a safe nail polish for kids?
- Non-toxic
- Low odor
- Water based formula
- Hypoallergenic
“Piggy Paint is a natural, eco-friendly nail polish designed for fancy girls. Its non-toxic, hypoallergenic formula makes it safe to use on all piggies.”
We received two of Piggy Paint’s Nail Pens in the colors Forever Fancy and Sea-quin to review. There were a lot of fun colors to choose from, so it was hard to select just two.
We really wanted to try the nail pens because the girls have trouble painting their own nails with traditional nail polish. The nail pens are really neat, designed with a wide felt tip for quick and easy application. One of the first things I noticed about the Piggy Paint nail pens is that they don’t have the offensive odor typically associated with nail polish. The polish was very easy to apply with the nail pens.
We were glad to learn how quickly the Piggy Paint polish dries, because the girls are always eager to start adding rhinestones and stickers to their nails for a little more bling. Here is a picture of Maddie’s blinged out nails, after an application of Piggy Paint.
The painted nails held up pretty well to rough play and lasted without chips or dents for several days. What’s really great is how easy it is to re-apply the polish when needed.
If you are looking for eco-friendly, non-toxic, completely child-friendly nail products for your little girls, I highly recommend Piggy Paint. You can purchase Piggy Paint nail products directly from their web site or use the store locator tool for a retailer near you. Thanks for the review! I really like Piggy Paint already. How do you remove it though? Do you have to use acetone as well?
