This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Groupâ„¢ and Poise, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #cleanandfreshswitch http://cmp.ly/3/8vNxcO.
My ultimate fantasy would be to rocket into outer space or climb to the peak of Mount Everest. Sadly these are two things my out of shape, overweight, middle aged, post childbirth body is never going to achieve. Yet, I am still a bit of thrill seeker. My bucket list has seen the likes of sky diving and white water rafting, both more achievable goals for this out of shape old body of mine. And thrills of late have been found on some of my favorite amusement park roller coasters.
I dream of adventure.
I love those dips, drops, spins, loops, twirls, and fast speeds you get on a coasters. I love screaming my head off during the whole ride. What is it that makes being scared half out of my mind so much fun? A few years ago, my thrill seeking adventures might have come to a halt if it weren’t for an assist from Poise.
Behold my standard coaster face. Mouth wide open, screaming insanely. I’m sure I’ve caught a fly or two over the years. Apologies for the poor quality of the picture. I’m one of THOSE people who won’t pay for a high res image from the park, and instead snapped this shot with my camera when it came up on the screen.
It all started on an amusement park ride. It was the Tower of Terror ride at Hollywood Studios in Orlando, to be exact. Like every time prior, I stepped into that elevator expecting to get the you know what scared out of me. Then it happened. I peed my pants. I had a rather long visit to the ladies room after this ride. Please don’t laugh too hard at my expense. You know this could very well have been you. After all, light bladder leakage can happen at any age.
It didn’t end with Tower of Terror. But I was prepared when I went to Universal Orlando and rode this next ride.
What goes up…
Must come down…
I just love that picture. There’s something about the dark clouds that make the ride seem even more ominous.
Sadly, it didn’t stop with just one ride. There have been many coasters since that required me to get a little discreet help from Poise. My problem with light bladder leakage has progressed beyond roller coasters. Sometimes it happens from coughing, or laughing too hard, and sometimes it seems for no good reason at all. I am so glad that I can still do the things that I love and not have to worry about a little bladder leakage.
When I head out of the house seeking some thrills, I always make sure to have a couple of Poise pads tucked into my bag.
Poise pads are uniquely designed for LBL, reducing stress, worry, and embarrassment. Three times drier than the leading period-only liners, Poise pads quickly lock away wetness and absorb odor, meaning nobody has to know my little secret. The thin and flexible design moves with your body, so I can walk around the amusement park all day in comfort.
You can pick Poise pads up at your local grocery or drugstore. In fact, Walgreens currently has a coupon available to save you $2 off Poise Products!
Hurry and grab this $2 Poise coupon before it’s gone. I got mine!
Don’t fret about light bladder leakage anymore. Poise let’s you go about your day without worry.
What are your thoughts on Poise and how they control LBL?
I’m so opposite that I’m terrified of rides like that and rollercoasters. I’d never want to go into outer space. However, if I’m forced to do any of those things, I’m getting my Poise pads first!!
You are brave! Any ride with height and dips like that leaves me running for the nearest exit! Our bodies change so much after childbirth, don’t they?
Oh my gosh you’re brave I could never ride that! I’m such a wuss.
Wow – that is impressive that you would even consider going on that ride! Not for me! Poise would be great for working out.
Wow, I would definitely need to wear a poise pad to go on that ride! lol. But man it looks like a lot of fun.
LOL, I could NEVER go on a ride like that I would have issues for sure!!
You are definitely not alone. I’m just glad I didn’t drink all the iced tea until after I went on the Tower of Terror ride at California Adventure!
I have been on a few scary rides in my life — but I think my desire for them has just about depleted. You are a brave woman!
The only time I’ve had a problem thus far is on the trampoline, but since it’s in my own backyard it’s not too much of an issue. Yet.
You go ahead and seek adventure! Good for you, woman. My Aunt is in a similar situation right now – and a user of Poise. I will definitely be getting the coupons for her. Thanks for being brave!
