Santa is such a special and fun part of our Christmas memories. I’ll never forget the first time that my son sat on Santa’s lap. He cried and cried until I quickly snapped a picture and scooped him up. This pattern continued for his first few Christmas seasons, until something magical happened. My son realized that Santa was the guy who would be bringing him toys, and quickly became his new best friend. (That Santa Claus get’s all the credit.) Year after year, we’ve looked forward to visits from Santa and all the cheer that comes with the holiday season. These days my son is too old to sit in Santa’s lap at the mall, but I don’t think we’re ever too old to believe in the magic of Christmas.

Portable North Pole

Earlier today I visited the Portable North Pole (PNP) web site to make personalized Santa video messages for my nieces and nephews, and realized that my son would also get a kick out of receiving one of these videos. While PNP is mostly for kids who still believe in Santa, you’re never really too old or too tall for Santa, after all. I know my son will absolutely love receiving this personalized message from Santa with mom’s special touch. Adults can even join in on the Christmas magic with customizable videos for those 18+.

It’s so easy to create a video with a PNP Personal Message from Santa. First you decide if the recipient of the video has been naughty or nice or a combination of both. Select Santa’s opening scene. You can choose from Santa in his sleigh, Then you just follow the prompts to upload images, and select milestones and events that you want recognized. With the premium video option, you can add three additional photos and more personal details to make it extra special.

I love that you can use the video to encourage your child towards a special effort such as being nice to their siblings or picking up their toys.
