Pur Minerals 2012 Spring Product Review & Giveaway

I love mineral makeup and have been wearing it for years, so I was thrilled when Pur Minerals gave me the opportunity to try some of their new products for Spring 2012. They sent one of my all time favorites, the 4-in-1 Pressed Mineral Makeup Foundation, as well as a few of their products that I have not tried before such as: Disappearing Act 4-in-1 Concealer, 4-in-1 Mineral Tinted Moisturizer, and Pressed Mineral Blush in Polynesian Pink.

Pur Minerals is a cosmetic company that I learned about last Fall when I reviewed a few of their products. I fell in love with the 4-in-1 Pressed Mineral Makeup Foundation at that time and have purchased it since. It goes on flawlessly and fits perfectly into my 5 minute makeup routine. It’s amazing to me that with just a few swirls of a cosmetic brush, I have beautiful makeup that provides adequate coverage, that is not caked on. Plus, I am getting the bonus of SPF 15 protection with this makeup.

I don’t normally use a concealer as part of my daily routine, but the Pur Minerals Disappearing Act 4-in-1 Concealer was a snap to put on. I have been dabbing a very small amount under my eyes and am extremely pleased with the results. I have not been getting much sleep lately and this concealer does wonders to hide the dark circles under my eyes. I will probably continue to use this on a daily basis.

Like most mineral blushes, you only need a very small amount of the Pressed Mineral Blush in Polynesian Pink to see the results you want. The Polynesian Pink is the perfect color for Spring and Summer. It gives a pretty pink glow to the cheeks, without being too bold. The color is very pretty!

I was most intrigued with the Disappearing Act 4-in-1 Concealer that I received. Especially in the summer, I don’t wear makeup every day but still need SPF protection and a good moisturizer. I love this product! It’s a good moisturizer for the morning, since it is not thick or greasy. The SPF 20 protection is a must for my fair skin. It also helps to minimize flaws and imperfections, providing a natural look. It’s great to use alone or as a primer.
