Aches and pain can wear you down, make you irritable and even depressed. I’ve had occasional, painful bouts of sciatica for many years, but a couple of years ago I also began to have issues with middle and sometimes upper back pain. I would imagine some of it is brought on by my being in my mid-forties and a bit overweight. Getting older hurts…in your joints, your back, your neck. I’ve also been a lot more active the last couple of years since moving to Florida, and my body wasn’t used to it. Last year I started getting a massage every two weeks, but it was costly and the relief was very temporary. I needed a different solution for my pain management. Since I’m not comfortable taking prescription pain relievers, I began looking for a more natural approach in nutritional supplements.

Buying Disney Annual Passes was one of the first things I did after moving to Florida two summer ago. It was real splurge for me as a single mom, but something I knew my 9-year old and I would really enjoy. There have been some frustrating weekends when we had to stay home because of my achy back. I became tired of missing out and decided to be more proactive in managing my back discomfort.

The timing was perfect, when I was approached to try Relief Factor which is said to reduce without the use of prescription drugs by helping to lower inflammation and pain associated with everyday life. Having never taken much more than a multi-vitamin, I was curious to see if a nutritional supplement could give me the relief I need.

With ibuprofen, you have a higher risk of upper gastrointestinal bleeding when taking for 3 months or more, as well as a higher risk of cardiovascular events. Not so with Relief Factor. Plus, there is no risk of addiction like with some prescription pain killers.

  • Relief Factor sounds good! I typically just use aspirin, so far, it works for me. I have a relative his girlfriend gets massages several times a month, now he has started doing it, too, and it is outrageously expensive to do on an ongoing basis, and like you say, relief is very temporary.

  • I would love to give this a try. I try not to take pain medication at all unless its really needed. I am unable to use ibuprofen due to poor kidney function. I will have to check into this.

  • Relief factor sounds like something I want to try. I’m in my late 50’s and want to be able to keep up with my very active 7 year old grandson! I dislike. taking Ibuprofen or Tylenol due to the gastric & liver problems they can cause & don’t like the”spaced out” feeling prescription pain relievers leave you with.Thank you for your review!

  • My husband has been taking ADVIL daily for about a month due to back issues. This sounds like a great solution for him and one I’ll look into!

  • I’m going to try my best to live a healthier lifestyle in 2018. I want to try and exercise daily and eat more vegetables.
