I’ve never worn prescription glasses…until now that is. Lately things had been getting a bit fuzzy for me. My favorite shows on the television were getting harder to see and I wasn’t feeling comfortable driving (safely) at night. My daughter recently made an appointment to have her own eyes examined, so I decided to tag along. As I had expected, it was time for me to start wearing glasses. Thankfully, I had been offered a Rivet & Sway Glasses review. Since it was my first pair of glasses, I was a little skeptical about ordering them online. I am glad to say that Rivet & Sway has won me over!
Rivet & Sway
First I shopped online for frames, and I must mention that Rivet & Sway has a nice selection to choose from. I was able to select 3 frames for home try-on. Basically, that means that they would be sending me the 3 frames that I chose online to try on at home. Just a few days after selecting my try-on frames, a package arrived at my door. I was immediately impressed by the stylish packaging. Inside the box were the 3 frames that I selected online, along with a return shipping label. I was given 3 days to make up my mind, but knew instantly which pair I wanted.
Just to solidify my decision, we posted pictures of me wearing all 3 frames to our About A Mom Facebook page. We had an overwhelming response. Most people preferred the same frames that I had chosen. Sooo…which ones do you think I went with?
I went with the frames you see pictured on the left. After making my decision, I shipped the frames back to Rivet & Sway by simply sticking on the postage paid label and putting it my mailbox. Then I went online and completed my order. I also had to scan and send them a copy of my prescription. Less than a week later my new glasses arrived.
The glasses I received are very high quality, as I expected for $199.00 (including shipping and lenses). They are polycarbonate lenses, with scratch resistant and glare free 100% UV protection coatings. Having never worn glasses before, I am very surprised by how lightweight they are. I hardly notice them except for the fact that I can actually see things clearly now.
What do you think about my new glasses? This pic was snapped as I was on my way out the door for work. It’s hard to make blue scrubs look fashionable, but my new Rivet & Sway glasses are a nice accessory. I totally understand if you might be hesitant about ordering eye glasses online, but I am hear to tell you that it was super easy and I am thrilled with the results.
