Need back to school breakfast inspiration? I’m sharing an easy-to-prepare Maple Dijon Mayo recipe that is so delicious on Jimmy Dean® Frozen Breakfast sandwiches. It’s such a simple way to make breakfast more special on busy school days.
Can you believe it’s that time again? Summer break seems like it flew right past us. I already find myself neck deep into prepping for the new school year. My family moved a few weeks ago which put us in a new school district, so we’ve been getting school physicals and doing all the many things that go with registering for school.
One of the things we learned about our new school district is that there is no dress code. This has totally blown my back-to-school budget! School uniforms are so much more affordable.
Plus, my daughter is starting middle school this year. There is a lot of apprehension about this change – for both of us – maybe even more for me! We’ve been having the great school bus debate. She wants to ride the bus and I want to drive her. She is growing up so fast and eating me out of the house in the process. Thankfully, there is a terrific offer on Tyson® products at Publix happening right now so we can save on our favorite back-to-school breakfast, lunch and after-school snack foods. Shopping for our favorite Tyson products is one of the few things we can actually agree on these days.
This will be the first year that we have breakfast at home on all school days. Our former elementary school offered free breakfast and lunch to all students which was so awesome. This program isn’t offered in our new county, so I am oh-so very thankful for the savings I’m getting on breakfast foods like Jimmy Dean Croissant Sandwiches found in the frozen section at Publix. These sandwiches are a life saver, they’re flavorful, packed with protein, and perfect for breakfast or even as a snack!
Now I need to work on making the extra time for breakfast at home in the morning.

Back to School Breakfast Inspiration
Breakfast is the mealtime that challenges me the most. I am not a morning person at all. Don’t even try to have an intelligent conversation with me until I’ve had my second cup of coffee. I need a simple solution for breakfast that my daughter will want to eat. Tween girls can be the pickiest eaters.
Sausage Egg & Cheese Croissant Sandwich with Maple Dijon Mayo
I’ve come up with a back to school breakfast she absolutely loves, and it is so easy. You’ll want to try this! Here’s what you need:
Jimmy Dean Croissant Sandwiches Sausage, Egg & Cheese
Maple Dijon Mayo
This creamy and delicious sauce comes together quickly with just 3 ingredients. It is perfect for breakfast sandwiches and any leftover sauce can be used for lunch. Try it on a sandwich with Hillshire Farm Lunchmeat – Ultra Thin Oven Roasted Turkey Breast and Swiss cheese. YUM. The Hillshire Farm Lunchmeat – Ultra Thin Oven Roasted Turkey Breast, 9 oz. package is included in the Tyson back to school savings offer at Publix! We love Hillshire Farm Lunchmeat because it is made with no artificial preservatives or flavors and has no nitrates added. You can find it in the refrigerated section at Publix!
