This Mama’s going to Cozumel in a few weeks aboard the Royal Caribbean Liberty of the Seas! As one of 40 bloggers invited to this year’s Brandcation sponsored by MomDot and Royal Caribbean, I’ll be embarking on a 5 day, 4 night cruise to Cozumel, Mexico aboard the Liberty Of The Seas. I honestly can’t think of a better way to kick off Spring!
Brandcation is a sort-of conference, sort of retreat created by Brandfluential and MomDot, and is in it’s sixth year. However, this year will be my very first time embarking on this exciting journey. I’m really looking forward to meeting and getting to know the 39 talented and inspiring bloggers who will be joining me as we #SeasTheDay with Royal Caribbean.
The Western Caribbean cruise will be departing from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on April 3rd and returning to port on April 7th. While in Cozumel, I plan to join excursion that tours the ancient Mayan ruins – something I am super excited about. I can’t wait to share pictures with you in a few weeks.
Royal Caribbean is rolling out the red carpet for the bloggers, with premium accommodations (including a private balcony – Woot!), exclusive activities, and behind-the-scenes tours. Liberty of the Seas is an impressive ship with so much to do. Here’s a look at what’s in store for us:

I fully prepare to gain 10 pounds on this cruise!
Cruising on Liberty of the Seas isn’t all about food and fun. I plan to do a lot of relaxing on this cruise, and hope to take advantage of some of the spa treatments available at VitalitySM Spa. Most likely I will be poolside, at one of the ships 4 pools, with a good book for the majority of the cruise, and I can’t wait. I might even pop into the state-of-the-art Fitness Center for a yoga or tai chi class.
Doesn’t this all sound like a dream come true? Well, it is for me. I forgot to mention that, while I love to travel, this is my very first time on a cruise, making this trip all the more special. I hope you’ll follow along with me April 3-7, @aboutamom on Twitter and Instagram, and the #SeasTheDay hashtag for all the fun.
Since this is my first cruise, I need your help. Please share your cruising tips below. What I should pack?
