Kinect Sesame Street TV
Sesame Street gets interactive with Kinect Sesame Street TV for XBox 360. Preschoolers and moms alike will love Kinect Sesame Street TV. It transforms passive viewing into active participation. Children can learn through play with their favorite Sesame Street characters. My family received a copy of Kinect Sesame Street TV to review and my grandchildren have spent countless hours learning the alphabet with Big Bird, Counting with the Count, jumping like frogs with Elmo, and so much more.
Kinect Sesame Street TV isn’t actually a game, rather it’s an interactive viewing experience using the Kinect for XBox 360 gaming system. It’s really fun watching the kids have a 2-way conversation with their favorite Sesame Street characters. If your children don’t want to interact, you can just sit back and enjoy the eight 30 minute episodes that are spread over 2 discs. The interactive experience uses both existing Sesame Street episodes and new ones created specifically for the software.
“Play is the highest form of research.” ~ Albert Einstein
Kinect Sesame Street TV is recommended for children age 3 and up, although my almost 2 year old grandson really enjoys. He mostly seems to follow his 4 year old sisters lead on interacting with the program. I think the interactive experience will be a real draw for older kids why may have recently outgrown the Sesame Street series.
As you would expect from Sesame Street, while interacting with the game kids will learn about friendship, numbers, letters, and do dozens of other activities. They’ll also get some physical activity doing things like throwing coconuts with Grover. This would be such a fun activity for play groups. I can just imagine a whole room full of preschoolers getting in on the Sesame Street action.
My grandchildren have really enjoyed all of the episodes and particularly like jumping like frogs with Elmo and throwing coconuts with Grover.
Kinect Sesame Street TV is available in stores now and has a suggested retail price of $29.99.
We still LOVE Sesame Street in our house. Can you believe it’s still going strong??
Yaaa, Sesame Street still going strong. My kids would love this. Adding to Christmas List!

What a cool game. Looks like loads of fun!
How fun! I’ll keep this in mind for Christmas gifts for my little cousins!
Oh my gosh- that is really cool! We don’t have a kinect but my mom does, so this might have to happen at Nonie’s house! Elodie loves Sesame Street- especially Elmo. Love that something so classic has been made into a very modern game.
My husband was just asking if there were games for my 4 year old for the Kinect. So glad to see that there in fact is. I need to let my sister know so we can get this one for her game system. {We love going over to play it with her!}
My daughter would go nuts over this & not put it down!
My son LOVES Sesame Street! This makes me wish I had an XBox!
