They offer highly fashionable dresses for all types of women including a beautiful collection of plus size dresses. Finding fashionable dresses in women’s sizes can sometimes be difficult. At certain stores where I shop most of the plus size clothing are more appropriate for a woman 20 years my senior.
I was so excited when given the opportunity to review a dress from Shabby Apple. Most of their clothing has a classic, vintage look that I absolutely love. Selecting a dress was difficult, because there were so many pretty ones to choose from. I settled on the Lindy Hop dress in black.
The quality of the fabric and construction of the dress is exceptional. The dress has an understated elegance to it with a pretty rose on the bodice and a thick, banded waist. I was truly excited about this dress, so it was quite disappointing when it did not fit me. The dress was too large in the torso for me. I had ordered the women’s medium size, because I am so bottom heavy. Unfortunately, with the cut of this particular dress that meant it was too large on top.
Much to my sister-in-laws delight, the dress was passed on to her. She is much taller and more equally proportioned than me, so the dress was a better fit for her. The dress is very pretty on her. When shopping for plus size dresses from Shabby Apple, be sure to take your measurements first and check out their fit guide. If you still get the wrong size don’t worry, because Shabby Apple has a wonderful return policy. They will ship you a new dress for free.
