Confession. I love shopping, although it doesn’t appear to be much of a secret based on the number of catalogs that get stuffed into my mailbox each morning, and the couple dozen special email offers I receive each day. The stack of catalogs next to my sofa have countless page corners turned and images circled, only to be lost or forgotten. Wouldn’t it be nice to do away with that pile of paper and have all of those things you desire in a convenient online wish list?
I recently discovered the Catalog Spree shopping app for iPad. It offers paper free shopping, an amazing selection of catalogs, easy online shopping and so much more.
I was given a gift card to try out this shopping app, and as someone who loves online shopping I have quickly become addicted to it. This app is oh-so helpful. Read on to find out why…
Imagine an app filled with hundreds of catalogs from retailers like Tea Collection, Plow & Hearth, Macy’s, Best Buy, Target, Sephora, and so many more. All of the catalogs I currently get by snail mail are available in this app, plus a ton more I didn’t even know about.
When you first download the app, you’ll be asked a few quick questions about your opinion on a few stores. Based on this assessment, it will show you catalogs that you’re likely to want to browse. But don’t worry, you are not limited to these recommendations. You can browse catalogs by store, category, or by price range, and you can even create your own lists.
There are two very cool features of this app that let you create wish lists and price watch notifications. Beware my fellow shopaholic friends. This app is addicting. It’s easy to lose track of time browsing catalogs and building your wish lists. I love that with the tap of your finger you can add things to a wish list. You can create as many wish lists as you like for various occasions. If something you want costs a little more than you want to spend, you can easily set a price watch and be notified when the price on something drops. I am loving these features!
Find what you want and shop directly from the app. It’s so easy. Almost too easy, but I love it.
I really like the Gift Center feature, which highlights catalogs that offer items for special occasions and that make great gifts. For example, last week there were tons of great gift ideas for Father’s Day. Catalog Spree even has their own collections, including Catalog Spree Holidays catalogs featuring quirky gifts, gifts for cooks, gifts for kids, gifts for teens, gifts for him or her, and more, along with specialty retailer gift catalogs like Macy’s Celebrity Gift Giver 2013, Sharper Image Holiday Preview, and dozens of others!
Catalog Spree is feeding my shoe addiction!
Featuring more than 350 catalogs, the Catalog Spree is absolutely FREE to use and available to download for iPads and iPhones. Are you ready to do some summer shopping?
I would love to hear what some of your favorite catalogs are!
I am all for anything that will save me time and this sounds like it will do just that. I need to go download this 🙂
That’s very neat. I do tons of shopping online & it sounds like this would save me a lot of time.
I only online shop these days. This is great to have!
Oh this app looks like trouble! I really don’t need shopping to be any easier ha ha!
That is a sweet shopping app! That would help me keep paper clutter to a minimum but still get the cool catalogs I like to look through!
This sounds really cool. I need to get this app!
This sounds really cool! I like that it lets you know when the price on something drops.
I love online shopping so this app could be so dangerous for me! I know I will spend a lot of time browsing it!
I think this app seems pretty cool. I buy some housewares via catalogs.
This is really neat. I didn’t know something like this existed. I’d much rather shop from the comfort of my own home, it’s brutal having to take all the kids out just to go shopping, it never ends well. Thanks for sharing about this.
