Pineapple Teriyaki Meatballs

These simple-to-make slow cooker Pineapple Teriyaki Meatballs are incredibly delicious, and the perfect meatball appetizer for game day or anytime.


1 cup water 5 tablespoons packed brown sugar 1/2 cup soy sauce 2 tablespoons honey 1 large clove of garlic, finely minced 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger 2 tablespoons cornstarch 1/4 cup cold water 1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, in juice 1 (2 pound) bag Cooked Perfect Homestyle Meatballs

To Serve: 1 tablespoon sesame seeds 2 scallions, chopped


In a saucepan, set to medium heat, combine 1 cup of water, brown sugar, soy sauce, honey, garlic and ground ginger.

In a small bowl, combine the cornstarch with the 1/4 cup cold water and whisk until dissolved. Add the cornstarch mixture to the saucepan.

Heat the sauce until it thickens. It should be thick enough to coat the back of a spoon.

Place frozen meatballs into slow cooker.

Pour over teriyaki sauce and crushed pineapple.

Gently stir.

Heat on high for 2 to 3 hours or on low for 4 to 5 hours.

To serve, sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped scallion.
