This post about SONIC’s Limeades for Learning initiative is sponsored by SONIC Drive-In. I’m so excited to partner with SONIC again this year to help promote this 11th annual SONIC Fall Voting campaign. SONIC generously provided me with a DonorsChoose gift card to use at my discretion. A simple search on the DonorsChoose.org website resulted in a variety of teacher projects at my daughter’s school that are in need of funds. Be sure to enter the giveaway at the bottom of this post for a chance to win a $100 DonorsChoose gift card AND $25 SONIC gift card!
It’s that time of year again! Through Oct. 27, you can help give $1M to teachers through SONIC’s annual Fall Voting campaign. Help public school teachers by voting for projects that inspire you.
Don’t you love when your favorite companies and brands give back to the community? I sure do which is why I’m happy to share this meaningful program that connects teachers to the funds they need to make their classroom projects and dreams come true. Did you know that teachers spend $500 per year of their own money on average for things needed in their classrooms each year?
Not that I need an excuse to visit my local SONIC Drive-In.
I say it all the time. I have SO MUCH respect for teachers. Even more so now that T is in middle school. I’m flabbergasted by some of the stories she tells me when I pick her up from school. Sixth Grade is rough. I don’t know how these teachers do it. It takes a very special and passionate person to be a teacher and someone with a whole lot more patience than I have. All the more reason I’m such a big supporter of SONIC’s Limeades for Learning initiative.
What is Limeades for Learning?
Limeades for Learning is a national initiative to support public school teachers and their students. In partnership with DonorsChoose.org, SONIC provides learning materials to support innovative teaching techniques that inspire creativity and learning.
SONIC Annual Fall Voting Campaign
Through October 27, 2019, SONIC guests can search thousands of teacher projects and vote for their favorites to receive funding. At the end of every week during the campaign, SONIC will fund the projects receiving the most votes, and the unfunded projects will carry over to the next week. Visit LimeadesforLearning.com to find and vote on a favorite project.
You can make a huge difference in providing teachers with the supplies they need, simply by voting. There are three ways to earn votes for teacher projects throughout the Fall Voting campaign:
1. Vote once daily after signing up with a valid email address
2. Visit a SONIC Drive-In to get a bag sticker code worth two votes
3. Vote ten times to receive three extra votes via email
Check out all the live teacher projects you can vote for during Fall Voting here. Cast your votes daily and spread the word to show your support!

A teacher in my hometown has a project called Branching Out From the Sunflower State, teaching middle school students about travel and the adventures and experiences you can have all over the world. I spent 30+ years in the travel business which makes me love this project even more!

I would like to fund the project called New School Year, New Needs submitted by Mrs. Stanton in Bloomington MN. She needs headphones, primary lined notebooks and printer ink to start of the year.
