It’s almost a new year and with it comes new resolutions, and renewed health and fitness goals. Like so many people, I kicked off 2015 with a new and improved healthier lifestyle. I was so motivated, and had some success. Sadly, it didn’t last. This year I am getting a head start on my health and fitness goals for 2016 with some smart health and fitness gear from Sears Connected Solutions.
I’ve been saying for months that I need to lose some weight and get into better shape, but I need some serious help. I have a two week trip to Europe planned for this spring, and know that I need to start getting fit soon, if I’m going to be able to keep up with the long days of walking with a tour group. That should be motivation enough. Don’t you think? Since I feel like I need that extra little push, I treated myself to an early Christmas present. I have really been needing something like the Fitbit Flex in my life to track every step I take to help me reach my goals. It’s comfortable, slim and stylish so I’m likely to wear it on most days.

I’ve been able to lose about 20 lbs this year, and hope to continue into 2016 to lose a bit more. The key has been portion-control in my eating and getting more exercise on a regular basis! I’d love to have their Withings Wireless Smart Scale to track my continued progress!
