This is a sponsored post with Paramount Pictures. Opinions are all my own.

It isn’t often that I want to hang out in a bar on a Friday or Saturday night. A girls night in is more my thing these days. There’s nothing better than having some girlfriends over for some wine, good food, maybe a little gossip, and definitely a great chick flick. I have one that I just watched and highly recommend for your next movie night with the girls.

The romantic comedy BOOK CLUB was the perfect movie for my recent girls’ night in and it is now available on both Digital and Blu-ray. I adore this movie, and have a feeling you will too!

Be sure to make my sweet and savory goat cheese toasts when you watch this movie. It’s a delectable snack that comes together easily. I promise your girlfriends will love it! Get the recipe from the bottom of this post.

BOOK CLUB is all about female friendship, making it a perfect film for a girls’ night in. In the film, 4 friends (Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda, Candice Bergen, Mary Steenburgen) get together to discuss the latest book they’re reading which happens to be a romantic novel.

You’ll have to read a little further down, watch the trailer or just skip to watching the movie to see which book they were reading. I won’t tell!!

But, in addition to the book, they end up talking about so much more. Supporting, encouraging, and enjoying each other. Just what you would expect from good friends… are you seeing why this movie is perfect for your next girls’ night?!

Watch the BOOK CLUB trailer:

Did you catch the all-star cast I mentioned? This group of ladies is incredibly funny and super duper talented.

I feel like this movie was made for me, and not just because I am part of the over 40 club, because this movie is one that women of all ages will enjoy. Mostly, because after a bit of a dry spell I am in a romantic relationship again, and to say I was a little awkward in the beginning is an understatement. Okay, I’m always awkward but he’s getting used to it now.

I’m also at a point in my life professionally where I am having to re-invent myself in ways, try new things and take a few chances. I love how this movie portrays that it is never too late to live your life to the fullest, pursue goals, and find love. Honestly, at the age of 48 I am having more fun than I have in more than 10-15 years. I adore that this movie shows how fulfilling this next chapter in a woman’s life can be.

The next chapter is the best chapter.
