Here in the South we drink a lot of iced tea, so I was eager to try the Tea Forte Tea Over Ice Brewing Pitcher. The pitcher uses a flash chilling method to brew and chill the most delicious tea. Along with my brewing pitcher, I received the Nantucket Sampler which includes 5 fabulous tea blends: Celon Gold, Lavender Citrus, Raspberry Nectar, White Ginger Pear, and Blackberry Pomegranate.
Typically when I make iced tea, a lot of sugar or Splenda is added to enhance the flavor. The Tea Forte tea is so flavorful and refreshing that no sweetener is required. Although they are all quite lovely, the Lavender Citrus is my favorite.
~ Elevating iced-tea to a higher level ~
I must admit that I feel like miss fancy pants when I use the Tea Over Ice Brewing Pitcher. It makes for quite a presentation that I love showing off to guests. My only complaint is the size. The pitcher makes 2 large glasses of iced tea which doesn’t go very far in my house. If you are making tea for just one or two people it is perfect, but I have found that I only use it for a special occasions or when I want a real treat. Tea Forte does offer a Five-Over-Ice and 12-Over-Ice brewing pitcher. One of these sizes would be better suited for my needs.
It’s very easy to prepare delicious tea with the Tea Forte pitcher. You simply drop an infuser into the smaller brewing pitcher and add boiling water. Allow to steep. Next, fill the larger pitcher with ice cubes. Lastly, pour brewed tea over ice cubes and enjoy.
The brewing pitcher is made from hand-blown heat-resistant glass and stacks for a captivating tableside presentation. It is so lovely and the iced tea is truly the best I have had!
