Year after year, I have so much to be thankful. I have an amazing son, a loving family, good friends, and two adorable little dogs. Blogging has given me the opportunity to have some amazing experiences, as well as a chance to help other people in my community. I am truly blessed.
I am really looking forward to the Thanksgiving holiday. Just this morning I mentioned on Twitter that the list of friends and family joining us for Thanksgiving this year, seems to be growing by the minute. It’s going to be a joyous occasion. I really look forward to making some of my son’s favorites in the kitchen, and catching up with old family friends.
The extra people at the house and tempting smells from the kitchen are sure to have my two adorable (spoiled rotten) dogs on edge. Winston and Lilly are such hound dogs to begin with, so the antics and begging is sure to be off the charts on Thanksgiving. Lucky for them, I have been challenged by Big Heart Pet Brands® to write this sponsored post sharing some ideas for DIY Thanksgiving dog gifts.
These diy dog gifts are the perfect way to celebrate the fall season with my furry family members. I know these Thanksgiving Doggie Bags will be much enjoyed by my two begging pups.
Thanksgiving Doggie Bags
In addition to the dog treat bags for Winston and Lilly, we made up some extra Thanksgiving doggie bags for our guest to take home to their pets.
You don’t need to have any special equipment or spend a crazy amount of money to make some adorable treat bags for your dogs. I picked up a variety of dog treats like Milkbones, Pup-peroni, and Mylos Kitchen at Walmart. Then I raided my craft closet and kitchen for supplies.
Suggested materials for these Thanksgiving doggie bags include: brown paper lunch bags, bakers twine, paw print stamps and ink, cardboard favor boxes, clear treat bags, ribbon, and gift tags. You can download and print my printable dog treat gift tag for your own personal use.
I am loving this dog bone gift tag! Isn’t it cute? You can download and print it from my DropBox here.
This November, Big Heart Pet Brands® invites you and pet lovers everywhere to celebrate the holiday season with your furry family members. Created for the purpose of nurturing the bond between pets and the people, the #TreatThePups page on Walmart offers creative crafts and other fun ideas to help you include your pet this Fall.

How will you celebrate the fall season with your furry family members?
OMG too adorable! Love!
Awww these are super cute, what a great idea!
I love those. I’m actually having a small get-together for my dog’s “1st birthday” in a couple of weeks and these would make awesome party favors for the other dogs.
Your doggie treat bags are so cute. Mine would like to eat the treats and then have some turkey.
I usually make homemade treats for them.
Sounds like they are going to be really grateful on Thanksgiving at your house.

I love this! Thank you! I just baked some dog treats for the neighbors dog that my boys walk on a regular basis. The ideas above would have been a great way to package them before taking them over. I’ll work on this for Christmas!!
I love the idea of Thanksgiving Doggie Bags. Our poor dogs sit around all day and smell all that great food cooking and at the end of the day, what do they get? Yep, a Thanksgiving Doggie Bags. Thanks for caring and sharing.
