The Elf Magic Elves Holiday Tradition Begins #ElfMagic

My family has many holiday traditions, from exchanging stockings on Christmas Eve to baking our classic Christmas cookies for friends and neighbors. Our newest holiday tradition involves a magic elf! The Elf Magic Elves holiday tradition began at our house this year, on the day after Thanksgiving. But the tradition itself has been around for a very long time… about 50 years. I can’t believe that all this time, the elves haven’t been creeping around my house at night! Well, this year that has all changed.

Elf Magic

Why do the elves visit? Santa allows his Elves to visit so they can encourage an upbeat Christmas, animated through nightly adventures and daily play. Elves are very busy doing Santa’s work, so if you want an elf to come visit you be sure to have your child write a letter to Santa asking for an elf. When your elf arrives, he or she will have with them some North Pole Snowflakes. It’s a dusting of these snowflakes each night that creates Elf Magic, while everyone is sleeping.

It looks like our elf has a bit of a sweet tooth…

There are a few important things that you’ll need to do for your elf…

Each night be sure to put out a snack of crackers and ice water for the elves. Why crackers and ice water? Because Elves’ favorite snack is a reminder of their snowy home, and the ice water is melting North Pole Snowflakes and the crackers sound like crunching snow!

While your family is asleep at night, your elf will be up playing and having fun (Elfcapades). It’s mom or dad’s job to make sure the kids wake up to find the elf in some sort of mischief. The kids have been having so much fun hunting for our elf in the morning!

What has our elf been up to so far?
