Time To Celebrate: Mom Has Finally Retired

It’s finally official, my mom has retired! We got everything set up yesterday with the Social Security office. Mom plans to continue working part time for a while, but the extra days off will give her body a much needed chance to rest. I look forward to seeing her have time to do more of the things she enjoys and hope she will have a chance to do some more blogging with me.

I am planning a retirement party for the nursing home where she works. It’s going to be a great celebration!
