As I’m sure you’ve heard me say before, getting off to a great start in the morning is crucial to a successful day, especially when you’re busy like me with a house full of big kids and grandchildren all waking up hungry and rushing around to start our busy days. That’s why Kellogg’s and I are teaming up this winter: to ensure we all get off to great starts when we need them most. Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing tips from Team Kellogg’s, and letting you know how these valuable pieces of advice help me stay on top of everything in our busy little household; like coming up with new ways to exercise together in the morning! It’s a great and positive way to get the kids out of bed, and it gets all of our days started with a little fun and activity.
Do you know that old saying… Like Mother, Like Daughter? Well, it’s important to me that I set a good example for my daughters and granddaughters. I am so inspired by the video below featuring Tip #15 Like Mother, Like Daughter from Team Kellogg’s, and am looking forward to getting more exercise as a my family. Some simple yoga stretches in the morning or a brisk walk in the evening with my girls will be a great way for me to lead by example.

We have Kellogg’s Cereal for breakfast almost everyday!
When I think of all the years I didn’t eat breakfast, I could just kick myself! It’s so important and these days, I can’t function without it.
I’m super excited to hear about all of these tips. What I’ve seen so far is really wonderful!
Getting more exercise is one of my goals as well.
Mini Wheats are my favorite and my daughter loves them too! I’m a fan of the original, but in bite size! Enjoyed the post! 🙂

How we start the morning often determine how we spend and end the day so it is very important to get off to a good start.
I’m going to be working on making sure my mornings start with a good mood because it definitely sets the tone for the day. Wake up, stretch, wash face, and think about some positive things!
