Toy Academy: Some Assembly Required

Toy Academy is where toys learn to play. Imagine action figures training to battle, stuffed animals who study the art of the hug, and collectibles practicing to stand very, very still. Playing is serious business. This fun-filled chapter book tells the story of a new toy named Grumbolt who becomes a student at Toy Academy, so that he can learn to play and be paired up with the perfect kid.

Learning how to play isn’t as easy as you might think. Each passing day at Toy Academy got tougher and tougher for Grumbalt, and he wasn’t sure where he fit in. Things get really interesting for Grumbalt when the Evil Toy Academy threatens to bring down his school. It’s up to Grumbolt to go where no good toy has gone before and prove he’s truly a great toy after all.

When Grumbalt has to sneak into the Evil Toy Academy, he puts everything he has learned from his classes to the test. His pillow-fighting technique, ability to play-pretend and talent for soothing someone to sleep all come in handy. In the end, Grumbalt saves his school and learns his true purpose.

Playing is serious business.
