Two Thumbs Up for Rachael Ray Nutrish Zero Grain

My dogs have been eating Rachael Ray™ Nutrish® dog food exclusively for the last couple of years. We made the switch when I learned about Rachael Ray™ Nutrish® Zero Grain. I had been paying a small fortune ordering grain-free dog food online and making trips to specialty pet stores. I had all but given up on finding a high quality grain-free dog food that was affordable. Needless to say, I was over the moon to learn that Rachael Ray Zero Grain was available at my grocery store and at my local Walmart and Target.

Sweet Lilly passed away last March, but she was the reason we made the switch to a grain free dog food. We learned early on that she had a grain allergy. It was causing her a lot of her problems. Lilly thrived on Rachael Ray Zero Grain Dog Food. I am so glad we made that switch. Lilly’s brother, Winston, and our newest dog, Fionna, love Rachael Ray Nutrish too.

Getting a package from Rachael Ray Nutrish is an exciting event at our house. Fionna tried to eat her way into the bag the minute I set it down.

Fionna has adjusted so well to being a pet, after the few years she spent as a puppy mill breeder. This little girl has been through a lot, and I feel so blessed to be able to provide her with a loving home. Fionna enjoys snuggling up on the couch next to her Grandma Laura and she gives the best sloppy kisses.

You could say that the dogs in my house are a bit spoiled, but I wouldn’t want it any other way. I have to share this pic of Winston modeling his new sweater. He was grinning from ear to ear after putting it on. It’s not quite sweater weather, but I had to let him try it on.

Doesn’t Winston look handsome in his new sweater?

Please don’t pay any attention to his dirty face. Winston has been a very naughty boy lately. He’s figured out how to get into our newest tamper-free trash bin. Winson has an appointment for grooming this weekend, although he would much rather stay dirty. That’s what he gets for being such a naughty dog.

Even though he’s sometimes a naughty boy, Winston deserves the best and I believe he get’s that with Rachael Ray Nutrish dog food.

Here’s an important tip:

When switching to a grain-free pet food such as Rachael Ray Nutrish Zero Grain, do it slowly over the course of a week or so. Mix it in with their old dog food, slowly increasing the amount of the new food. When introducing new food to your pets, don’t just make the switch overnight. Make sure you make it a slow transition.

In 2007, with help from pet nutrition experts, Rachael Ray created Nutrish ultra-premium food and treats for dogs. In 2014, we were very excited to grow the brand into the world of cat food. Whether intended for dogs or cats, Nutrish recipes are made with simple natural ingredients and do not contain meat or poultry by-product meal or fillers. Real meat is the #1 ingredient and all recipes were inspired by Rachael’s kitchen.

  • I’m truly sorry for the loss of your sweet dog. Yes, the others are super cute, handsome and just plain adorable! I’ve heard so many good things about her food and snacks. I’ll have to check them out for my boxer boy. 🙂
