Veggie Tales: The Little Drummer Boy | 25 Days of Christmas

The kids in our family have grown up watching Veggie Tales. We have a couple of younger kiddos who were introduced to Veggie Tales by watching the new holiday movie The Little Drummer Boy. We have always enjoyed the Veggie Tales series and appreciate that the series is faith based and still tons of fun! I love how timeless the Veggie Tales are, appealing to yet a new generation of our little ones.
This Veggie Tales version of a holiday classic, The Little Drummer Boy, was so much fun to watch and has a great message. It features Junior Asparagus and his Veggie pals along with Junior’s animal friends: donkey, camel and sheep. One of our favorite characters from the movie is Junior Asparagus’s Grandpa, Pa Grape.
In this Veggie-version of a holiday classic, Junior Asparagus stars as The Little Drummer Boy, a lonely child who finds the true meaning of Christmas when he stumbles upon the birth of the baby Jesus. A story of hope, love and forgiveness, this timeless tale will warm the hearts of children everywhere!
The movie begins with Junior feeling sad and lonely after some tough times. It all changes when he stumbles upon the birth of Jesus. This life altering event changes him and teaches him about forgiveness, love, and hope. I love how this movie teaches the kids the most important story they will ever know, in a way that they can easily understand it.

This is such a fun movie for the holidays! The music and sing-along songs are just great. The movie includes the new Silly Song “The Polish Foods for Christmas” and an all new recording of The Little Drummer Boy by Grammy and Dove Award Winning artists BeBe and CeCe Winans!
The Little Drummer Boy is the perfect holiday movie for kids of all ages!
