Before leaving the corporate world 3 years ago, I had a job which required wearing a headset for 8 hours per day. I did this job for 15 years, so naturally I was a little resistant to bring a headset into my home. I have had a complete change of heart, after trying the VTech LS6475-3 Multitasking Phone System.
The VTech LS6475-3 Multitasking Phone System is a two handset cordless phone system with a cordless headset. It also has a built-in answering machine which I love. I must be the only person on the planet who didn’t have an answering machine until now. Mine broke a few years back and I never bothered replacing it, since I am home most of the time. It was like Christmas when I came home the other day and had my first message awaiting!
It was very easy to set up both handsets and the cordless headset. I didn’t even have to read the instructions to use the answering machine and that’s saying a lot! Although should you need them, instructions are included. There is a main unit which houses and charges one of the cordless phones, the digital answering system, and the headset. The second handset has it’s own base and takes up very little counter space. I really like the sleek design of the entire phone system.
The cordless headset can be used with the over the head attachment or an of over the ear attachment which comes in 3 sizes. The medium sized ear piece fits me perfectly and is what I prefer to use. Even with glasses, it fits comfortably and secure. Everyone that I have spoken with using the headset has said they can hear me perfectly clear. I can tell a small difference in clarity when using the headset, but prefer to use it because of it’s convenience. Over the past week I have been wearing it most of the day. Whether I am in the back yard, washing dishes or working on the computer, I can take a call with the quick push of a button on the side of the headset.

The handsets have amazing clarity. This new phone system has replaced all of the phones I had in the home previously. I didn’t realize until now that the phones I had before were so awful and a serious upgrade was in order. Mother’s Day came early for me!
