I have to be honest and admit that I have not been as diligent as I should when it comes to choosing the safest cleaning products for my family. I often grab whatever is on sale or go with generics. When asked the question ‘what’s lurking under your kitchen sink?’ I have been pretty clueless about what chemicals are in my cleaning products.
Thanks to Shaklee this has all changed for me. I received a Shaklee Get Clean Kit and have been educated on what to look out for on cleaning labels. Shaklee offers a full line of natural and nontoxic cleaning choices that are Safe for You, Your Home, and Your Planet®called Get Clean®. Shaklee believes that health isn’t just about what you put in your body; it’s about everything around you. Their cleaning products have even been reviewed and endorsed for their safety by Healthy Child Healthy World.

Receiving this Shaklee Get Clean Starter Kit was just the motivation I needed to do a major clean-out under the kitchen sink. I couldn’t believe what a disaster that area had become. I found some cleaners that had been under there for a long time and some of them never used. This had clearly become a hazardous area in my home! I was shocked by some of the things I read on the labels such as: kerosene, phenols, cresol, lye, hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, sulfuric acid, petroleum distillates, ammonia, sodium hydroxide, butyl cellosolve, phosphoric acid, formaldehyde, chlorine bleach, morpholine, and phthalates. None of these potential harmful chemicals will be found in Shaklee products!
I feel so good about cleaning the area under my kitchen sink. I ended up tossing most of what was under there. One of the things that I really like about Shaklee is that their products are concentrated and so versatile. The Basic H2 Organic Ssuper Cleaning Concentrate can be used for so many different things and a little goes a long way. The Nature Bright Laundry Booster and Stain Remover is probably the best laundry booster and stain remover that I have ever used. We don’t have a dishwasher, so my sister-in-law scored the Dish Washer Automatic Concentrate and she loves it! My hands don’t feel at all dry after using Shaklee’s Hand Dish Wash Concentrate, so i am thrilled with this product!
