Apple Cider Doughnuts with a Sugar Glaze

Apple Cider Doughnuts

  • Ingredients: 1½ Cups flour ½ Cup apple cider ½ Cup brown sugar 1 Egg 2 Tbsps butter 1 Tsp baking soda 1 Tsp nutmeg 1 Tsp allspice 1 Tsp vanilla extract 1 Tbsp ground cinnamon ¼ Tsp ground cloves Sugar glaze

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350F.
  • Grease a doughnut baking pan.
  • In a mixer combine the flour, apple cider, brown sugar, egg, butter, baking soda, nutmeg, allspice, vanilla, ground cloves, and 1 tbsp cinnamon.
  • Mix until getting a thick batter.
  • Fill the doughnut pan with the batter.
  • Bake the doughnuts for about 15 minutes or until golden.
  • Take the pan and set aside to cool down.
  • When cool, remove the donuts with a rubber spatula.
  • Cover them with the glaze and sprinkle the remaining cinnamon.
  • Serve and enjoy.
  • Tip: If you're a chocolate lover, try substituting chocolate syrup for the glaze.
