Spiked Slow Cooker Apple Cider

  • 64 ounces apple cider or apple juice
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 ⁄8 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce
  • 8 ounces dark rum more if you like it strong!


  • 1. Add juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and caramel sauce to your slow cooker; whisk, cover and cook on low for 3-­5 hours.
  • 2. Remove lid, add rum, stir, cover, and cook for 30 additional minutes.
  • 3. Serve with apple slices and cinnamon sticks as garnish.
  • *Note: This can also be simmered on the stovetop!
