Thirteen year old Becca has been using X Out, a new daily wash-in acne treatment, over the last few weeks. We had great expectations for this product, knowing that it is from the makers of Proactiv. Becca needs an easy to maintain skin care routine, that will provide oil control and help with mild outbreaks of acne. She recently started wearing makeup and needs something that will give her a deep clean.
X Out is a twice daily, wash-in acne treatment. Becca has done a pretty good job of using it twice a day. She likes how easy it is to use and that she only has to wash her face for 2 minutes, to get maximum results.
There is a cool QR code on the bottle that allows you to watch a daily 2 minute video, on your smart phone. While it’s a pretty neat feature, the novelty of it wore off for Becca pretty quickly and she did not watch it regularly while washing.
The Verdict
X Out has done a fantastic job of reducing the oil and shine in the T-Zone area. It provides a lasting effect throughout the day, proving that it penetrates deep into the pores. It does such a good job that I wouldn’t mind using it myself, although X Out is specially formulated for teens. Becca’s mild acne has definitely improved after using X Out.
A 30 day supply of X Out cost $19.95 and it comes with a free cleansing bar, making it a pretty good value in my opinion.
