Recently we shared the Zorbit Math Adventure Contest with you, and know many of you entered the contest by sharing your creative ways to help children, ages 3 to 5, learn math skills. Making learning fun is important to us here at About A Mom, so we were happy to participate when asked to help promote the Zorbit Math Adventure Contest. Our blog post teaching with conversation hearts uses a favorite Valentine candy to teach math, but this could easily be done with other common household items such as beans or macaroni. More recently we shared a fun science project using water, oil, and food coloring to create fireworks in a jar.
Zorbit’s Math Adventure is all about spreading the word on the importance of early childhood learning and making it fun for young children! Zorbit’s early education professionals have reviewed all your great entries, and have selected some of the most creative as finalists. Now it’s our turn to vote for the winners!
Your votes will determine their first, second and third place winning answers. The top three winners chosen by the voting will receive:
$200 gift card, third prize
iPad mini, second prize
iPad, grand prize
Here is how you can vote to win:
- Visit the Zorbits Math Contest page on Facebook.
- Vote for your favorite and a chance at a $100 gift card just for voting! Every time you vote (once a day limit) you are entered into a random drawing for a $100 gift card. Three (3) winners will be chosen at random. The deadline for voting on the Zorbit Home Learning Ideas Contest is Friday, August 9, 2013.

What an awesome app and a great giveaway!
Wow. And I say that because now that my son is 10, he cannot let his math or any other school subject knowledge lapse just because it is “summer vacation.” He reads every week day, but getting him to do math is a fight. And I only require 2 days a week, he could have 1/2 hour more TV if he just did not fight! Where was this great product when I needed it!
thanks,
Mitch
I bet my girls would love that. Serenity loves learning games
My 6 year old son has ALWAYS loved Math. Well, for the past 2 years he has 🙂
I will definitely be checking out Zorbit’s!!!!
What great prizes for the winners and voters. And for a great cause too!
