Look & Learn: Animal Alphabet — Learning is fun!

While at a National Geographic Kids event last week, I had the chance to play with the new Look & Learn: Animal Alphabet app by National Geographic Little Kids. You probably already know that we are huge fans of National Geographic Kids here at About A Mom. The Look & Learn: Animal Alphabet app is yet another fabulous educational product from NGKids, that has really impressed us.  It’s such a fun way for pre-school and pre-K kids to learn the alphabet.

From the award-winning National Geographic Little Kids, this educational app teaches key early learning skills to prepare kids for reading. Children can learn and play through six games featuring more than 60 different animals, 100 stunning photographs, fun animal facts, engaging sound effects, and more.

A to Z Animals: Learn to recognize each letter by association with animals, listen to letter sounds, and learn fun animal facts.

Find the ABC’s: Choose the right letter to see a fun animal picture and learn a new animal fact.

Connect the Letters: Connect letters in alphabetical order to reveal a funny animal picture and a fact.

Flamingo Flier: Collect letters by “flying” a flamingo through African landscapes.

Learn to Write: Learn how to write letters and earn a surprise animal photo and fact after writing each letter.

Mask Maker: Just for fun! Take a photo and add a funny animal mask to your face! Save or email pictures to friends. The group of mom bloggers I was with at the National Geographic Kids event had so much fun playing this game. We were cracking up as we took pictures of each other and added silly animal masks. Imagine how much fun this would be for kids!
