There have been some very fun apps to come out this year. I want to share with you one of my favorites called Viggle. With the Viggle app it pays to watch TV! That’s right! You can actually earn rewards for vegging in front of the television. Now that’s what I’m talking about!
Viggle is the smartest app ever!
Using Viggle is simple. First you’ll have to download the FREE app from iTunes or the Google Play store. To earn rewards, you have to check-in for the shows you are watching. Simply tap the scan button while holding your mobile device near the TV and Viggle listens to the feed. Once the feed is matched, you are checked in for that particular show. Easy peasy!
You can earn points for watching your favorite shows like The Real Housewives of Orange County!
Rewards
Once you’ve accumulated some loyalty points, you can cash them in for rewards like Amazon, Starbucks and Gap. It might take a while to earn enough points for something really good, but your getting free stuff for something you’re already doing — watching TV. It seems that the average points earned for watching a show is between 100-200. A few thousand points will get you something like a $10 Best Buy card (13,000 points). It’s so easy to check in when you’re watching your favorite shows, you may as well do it and start earning rewards.
Just for signing up, Viggle awarded me with 200 points! You can also earn bonus points for doing things like watching commercials within the app.

I love this app – I’ve been using it for about 6 months now. Too bad I don’t watch more TV – I feel like I’d be redeeming for all sorts of stuff!
