Fall is my favorite season with it’s cool weather and colorful leaves. Now that Halloween is behind us, I am really getting excited about Thanksgiving and Christmas soon to come.

Acorn Candy Kisses

Acorn Candy Kisses have long been one of my favorite fall treats to make. They are super cute and delicious. You don’t have to turn on the oven and they are simple enough for kids to make.

Ingredients:

  • Bag of Hershey’s Kisses, unwrapped
  • 1 Package of Nutter Butter Bites (the small round ones)
  • Miniature chocolate chips
  • Chocolate frosting (A bag of prepared chocolate frosting works well for this.)
Acorn Candies

Simply use a dab of chocolate frosting to glue the bottom of a Hershey Kiss to the one side of a cookie. Use another dab of chocolate frosting to attach a miniature chocolate chip to the other side of the cookie.

That’s it. Easy peasy! You can put a lot of these together in no time flat, especially if you have little helpers.

How to Package Acorn Candy for Fall Gift Giving

You know I had to package some of these up to give as gifts. For some, I simply wrapped a little baker’s twine around the top of a jar. For the other gifts, I put some of the acorn candy into a clear bag and tied on a fall gift tag.

I love this idea! Although we don’t eat cookies and candies in my home, I could totally give these as gifts!

Yum! This is such a cute and sweet treat to make during the Fall season. I imagine this would be a really fun snack to make with kids as well! I might try mixing it up and using hugs instead of kisses! I like the white chocolate hugs better 🙂

They are just way too cute. I have a bag of the mini cookies, I just need some kisses and can make these. The kids would love them!
