Kraft-Heinz sponsored this post, but the opinions are my own.
It’s hard to believe that we are a few weeks into a new school year. We are very happy with T’s new fourth grade teacher and her new classmates. I’ve decided to let T ride the bus home for the first time this year. I’ll still drive her in the morning, so we can sleep in a little bit later, but the ride home will give her that little bit of freedom she has been craving. Our after-school schedule is a little more busy than last year, since we’ve added show choir practice and ballet lessons.
With our busy schedule having the right after school snacks is important. I’ve even stocked up on some great after school snacks that are perfect for packing in her backpack or on-the-go.
After School Snacks – Perfect for On-The-Go
Capri Sun Sports drinks and Planters P3 Protein Snacks are two of things I stocked up on for after school snacking. I signed T up for dance class after school twice per week, and we will only have 15 minutes to make it there once she gets home. Seems I am always cutting it close. I really needed to find the perfect, on-the-go beverage/snack combo. Something filling that would hold her her over.
Have you tried the Capri Sun Sport or P3 Protein snacks yet? I think they are going to be a convenient solution to keeping my child ready and refreshed. P3 packs have 13g of protein to help give kids the fuel they need. I was glad to learn that Capri Sun Sport has 25% fewer calories than regular sports drinks. It’s definitely a better choice for after school sports.
Whether it’s a making school lunches or shuffling between games, Capri Sun Sport and P3 Protein Snacks are sure to come in handy this school year. I’m sure glad I picked some up, and T seems to be enjoying this snack/beverage combo a lot.
If you need to stock up on after school snacks too, you’ll find the Planters P3 packs on the nuts/seeds aisle at Walmart or your grocery store. They are conveniently a shelf stable, and do not require refrigeration. The Capri Sun Sport is located next to the other Capri Sun beverages, generally found on the juice aisle, not by the sports drinks.
It can be difficult finding snacks that both kids and moms agree on. I think I’ve found a winning combo with the Capri Sun Sport and P3 Protein Snacks. Do your kids like these too?
