This recipe is super easy to make and your children will love the chocolatey taste. You will only need a few simple ingredients and your children will have non-toxic edible play dough in no time at all.

For this Playdough recipe, you will need to place it in the fridge. You can choose to discard it right after, but it will be good for a few days. You can wrap the playdough in plastic wrap and reuse it for a few days.

How Long is This Homemade Playdough Recipe Good?

So, edible playdough can eventually come soft and sticky depending on the recipe after awhile. The playdough recipe will roughly last you 3 days time when placed in the fridge. If your playdough does become soft or sticky for any reason, you can dust a bit of cornstarch in your hands and mix it in and it will be as good as new.

  • 1 cup chocolate frosting
  • 2 cups powdered sugar

Mix the frosting and 1 cup of powdered sugar together, pressing with the back of a spoon, until it creates a sticky dough.
