St. Patrick’s Day is the perfect time to get crafty with the kiddos. You don’t have to spend a great deal of time or money in order to do so, in fact a quick trip to the dollar store is all you need. Take a look below at this sweet, simple, and inexpensive paint blotter clover kid’s craft. This paint blotter clover craft for kids is the perfect project to get the whole family in the St. Patrick’s Day spirit!
Four Leaf Clover Craft for Kids
Supplies needed:
Green window marker
White paper
Green pipe cleaners
Craft glue
As mentioned, we were able to find all of these materials at our local dollar store. Just take a peek in the craft supply section and you should find everything you need. Our total cost for this project was around $4 and we were able to buy enough to create this project many times over.
Directions:
1. Begin by folding and twisting the green pipe cleaners into a W shape. This way they will look like stems.
2. Glue the pipe cleaners to your paper. Press firmly so you know they adhere well.
3. Take your green paint blotter and practice making dots a few times on scrap paper. This will also get the ink running nicely.
4. Begin making your clovers by creating clusters of four dots next to each other. Repeat this process until you have the number of clovers you wish.
Once your clovers are dry, you are free to display this piece proudly! Frame it, pin it up, tape it up, or stick it on the fridge for all to see. This is such a fun and frugal craft that no doubt you will enjoy just as much as the kids.
So head to your local dollar store and give this easy St. Patrick’s Day craft a try!
