When we get together to watch the Big Game, it is always a fun time. When everyone gets together, we talk and joke around, watch the game, discuss the game, ok, maybe we yell at the game, laugh and eat snacks.

What is a game day party without having a few drinks. We tend to want something other than beer. Making Fruity Wine Spritzers using Frontera, America’s Favorite Best-Selling Wine from South America, is simple and everyone loves it. These fruity wine spritzers are light, bubbly and perfect for a crowd.
Who says you need beer to enjoy the Big Game? This year, encourage your guests to raise a glass of wine instead!
Perfect for any kind of get together, Wine Spritzers can be made quickly. Since Frontera has a large selection of grape types, there is something for everyone’s taste. It is available at a value price, so you can make several flavors of spritzers to suit all of your guests.
Typically, for gatherings like game day, I try to keep things simple. I want to enjoy the game with my friends, not spend my time rushing around the kitchen. A variety of chips, some jalapeno poppers, and a pitcher of fruity wine spritzers is all this girl and her friends need. If we’re real hungry, I’ll order a couple of pizzas.
Making a Fruity Wine Spritzer is so easy. No mixology degree required. The ingredients are things you can keep on hand for surprise guests. I just love whipping up a pitcher or two on game day.

Ingredients:
- Frontera Wine- Red or white, whatever flavor your choose.
- Club soda
- Frozen fruit – I like a berry assortment.
Steps:
Step 1: What makes this recipe perfect is that you can make large batches of it in a pitcher and the frozen fruit helps keep it cold. If you are making it in smaller quantities, you can make it glass by glass. It doesn’t matter how much or how little you make at a time, the important thing to remember is to keep the wine ration either 3 to 1.
Step 2: Start by adding fruit into the bottom of your pitcher or glass. You can add as much or as little fruit as you like. I like to add a nice layer into the bottom of my pitcher.
Step 3: For this size pitcher, I use 4 cups of Frontera Merlot. Pour your wine into the pitcher.
Step 4: Add in 2 cups of club soda and stir.
Step 5: Pour into your glasses and it is ready to drink.

This drink is downright delightful!

I don’t drink a lot of alcohol but this looks so delicious and perfect for a brunch or party. That sounds like a great contest too. I will have to enter!
I am a big wine fan, especially fruity flavors. Sounds wonderful!
I love the idea of having the berries in there. Quite frankly, I would drink the wine on its own happily, but that just makes it more of a treat.
I love wine spritzers. I gotta figure out what I’m making up for the super bowl.
