This post sharing fun food for kids is brought to you by Mott’s. As always, all opinions are my own.

Spring is in the air, and with it comes warm weather and outdoor fun. Recently, I have been having a lot of fun making snack time and lunch time more creative. In a way it’s combining snacks and crafts. What could be more fun than that?

I love how with just a little creativity, you can make something that kids will enjoy eating. It’s a great way to sneak extra fruits and veggies into your child’s diet. Here are some simple ideas to help you make fun food for kids.

Fun Food for Kids - Apple Racecars

Apple Racecars – These apple racecars couldn’t be any simpler to make. You will need an apple, toothpicks and miniature marshmallows. Instead of the marshmallows you could use pieces of string cheese or halved grapes. Just use whatever you have on hand. To make, cut the apple into wedges. Break toothpicks in half and insert one half into the rear and front of the car as pictures. Push a marshmallow onto the toothpick ends to create the wheels.

Fun Food for Kids - Ice Pops

Simple Popsicles – I love making my own ice pops. Making them yourself couldn’t be any easier. I found a nice variety of popsicle molds on Amazon, like the little ring pop molds that I used for the popsicles pictured above. Simply, pour your child’s favorite juice drink into the molds and freeze. The ruby color of Mott’s Strawberry Boom is perfect for ring pops.

My family is loving the bold new juice drink lineup from Motts, and they are perfect for making ice pops.

Fun Food for Kids - Popsicles

For the popsicles pictured above, I filled the mold half way with Mott’s Wild Grape Surge, added some frozen blueberries, then more Mott’s. The new Mott’s Wild Grape Surge and blueberries are a perfect combo. This is my family’s new favorite popsicle!

Fun Food for Kids - Flower Bento

Flower Power Bento – This flower inspired lunch is perfect for spring. All you need is a large flower shaped cookie cutter to make the sandwich. I used a couple of smaller flower cutters for the cheese. The fruit cup is made with orange wedges and a few blueberries for the center of the flower. Easy peasy!

It’s really quite easy to make snack time and lunch time healthy and fun for kids! What is your child’s favorite fun snack?
