This Ground Turkey Noodle Bake is a satisfying casserole using lean ground turkey, noodles, and cheese.

It’s a delicious and budget-friendly meal that will feed a large family. This casserole is also great to eat for lunch the next day, if you’re lucky enough to have leftovers.
I love this recipe for busy weeknights. It comes together quickly and everybody loves it. Chances are you already have everything you need to make this dish. I always stock up on Ragú® Pasta Sauce when I go to Kroger and it’s perfect for this recipe.

Spaghetti night is a almost weekly occurrence at my house, but every once in a while I like to mix things up a bit. This ground turkey noodle bake is a perfect example of that.
There are so many things I like about this casserole. I grew up on Ragú® and still love it today. Egg noodles make me think about all the wonderful casseroles my mom used to make. When I was new bride, egg noodles made a regular appearance in the tuna noodle casserole I lovingly made for my husband (three times a week). That got old really fast. Luckily, for him and me, I finally learned how to make a few more dishes.
I love the layers of creamy noodles, ground turkey, sauce and cheese. A mixture of Greek yogurt and cottage cheese give the noodles a wonderful creaminess. It’s so good. You could use any type of cheese in this recipe, but I pretty much always have a bag of grated Cheddar in the fridge.

Step 4: In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese, and remaining 1/2 tsp. of garlic powder and stir until almost smooth. Add plenty of freshly ground black pepper. Add to noodles and stir to combine.
Step 5: To assemble, add half of the noodles to the baking dish. Top with half the meat mixture, then sprinkle on half the cheddar. Repeat with noodles, meat, then a final layer of cheese.
Step 6: Bake for 20 minutes, or until all cheese is melted. Serve and enjoy.
Family mealtime is so important to me and my family. Sometimes it’s a struggle during the busy week, but it’s an effort worth making. It’s a great time to catch up on each other’s day and make plans for the weekend ahead. Does your family have a favorite weeknight meal?
