Transform a candy bar into Rudolph with this festive Hershey Bar Reindeer craft. It is a fun and inexpensive DIY holiday gift idea that you can do with the kids. As the Christmas holiday quickly approaches, I have another fun holiday craft to share with you – Hershey Bar Reindeer. This one is very simple and a great one to do with the kids. As with most craft projects, I didn’t have all of the supplies to make what I was envisioning. Our Grateful Turkey Box craft for Thanksgiving took the last of our brown craft paper, so I made do with brown packing paper. For the antlers I made used pipe cleaners. Even with a few deviations from my initial plans, these Hershey Bar Reindeer turned out pretty cute.
This is a such fun way to spiff up those candy bar stocking stuffers, and also makes as an inexpensive gift for your children’s friends.

Here’s what you’ll need for each reindeer:
Hershey Bar
light/dark brown craft paper or packing paper
black pipe cleaners (2 per Hershey Bar)
red pom pom for the nose
2 googly eyes
black marker
craft glue
clear tape
Shape each pipe cleaner to form antlers and secure to back of the candy bar with tape. Measure and cut a piece of lighter brown paper that will wrap around the candy bar, exposing the ends, and secure with a piece of tape. Glue on pom pom for nose. Draw 2 circles out of the dark brown paper and glue on for the eyes. Add 2 googly eyes. Draw on eye brows and mouth. To create fur at the top of the reindeer’s head, simply cut a small piece of brown paper that is scalloped one side.
These are so easy to make! Enjoy!
I showed this to my cousin, and she and her kids are going to make these for the holiday. What an awesome idea! I guess I know what I’m getting for Christmas, now! LOL
great idea! fun to make with kids
Oh wow, those are too cool. Was looking for some fun stocking stuffer ideas…so thanks for this!
Wow. These are too cute! Pinning!
I think I’ll do this with the kids and have these for the classroom parties! Thank you for the inspiration. Looks so easy to do.
This looks like a lot fun for kids!
A Hershey bar is such a simple gift but when you dress it up like this, it becomes something a bit more.
I might use this for Tosha to give to her class this year like the poster above. It would also make a great “little something” for some extended family members that we don’t usually buy for.
Absolutely love this idea. It would make a wonderful treat for Christmas school parties. I love that my kids can be involved in making them with me.
Absolutely love it!
So creative!
These are super cute you are so talented always posting neat ideas. I am glad you do some easy ones for those of us who are “craft challenged” think I might make these for my co-workers.
So cute! These would make perfect stocking stuffers. I love that it’s something that can easily be personalized by decorating it a little different. Now you have me thinking of all the different things that you can make all year long with this as a template. 🙂
