Transform a candy bar into Rudolph with this festive Hershey Bar Reindeer craft. It is a fun and inexpensive DIY holiday gift idea that you can do with the kids. As the Christmas holiday quickly approaches, I have another fun holiday craft to share with you – Hershey Bar Reindeer. This one is very simple and a great one to do with the kids. As with most craft projects, I didn’t have all of the supplies to make what I was envisioning. Our Grateful Turkey Box craft for Thanksgiving took the last of our brown craft paper, so I made do with brown packing paper. For the antlers I made used pipe cleaners. Even with a few deviations from my initial plans, these Hershey Bar Reindeer turned out pretty cute.

Transform a candy bar into Rudolph with this festive Hershey Bar Reindeer craft. It is a fun and inexpensive DIY holiday gift idea that you can do with the kids.

This is such a fun way to spiff up those candy bar stocking stuffers, and also makes as an inexpensive gift for your children’s friends.

Here’s what you’ll need for each reindeer:

Hershey Bar
light/dark brown craft paper or packing paper
black pipe cleaners (2 per Hershey Bar)
red pom pom for the nose
2 googly eyes
black marker
craft glue
clear tape

Shape each pipe cleaner to form antlers and secure to back of the candy bar with tape. Measure and cut a piece of lighter brown paper that will wrap around the candy bar, exposing the ends, and secure with a piece of tape. Glue on pom pom for nose. Draw 2 circles out of the dark brown paper and glue on for the eyes. Add 2 googly eyes. Draw on eye brows and mouth. To create fur at the top of the reindeer’s head, simply cut a small piece of brown paper that is scalloped one side.

These are so easy to make! Enjoy!

A Hershey bar is such a simple gift but when you dress it up like this, it becomes something a bit more.

I might use this for Tosha to give to her class this year like the poster above. It would also make a great “little something” for some extended family members that we don’t usually buy for.

So cute! These would make perfect stocking stuffers. I love that it’s something that can easily be personalized by decorating it a little different. Now you have me thinking of all the different things that you can make all year long with this as a template. 🙂
