A child’s birthday party is one of those times when you just have to indulge a little bit. There is no day more special, and a birthday party candy buffet is a perfect way to celebrate this sweet event!

There is so much that goes into planning a party from the decorations to the cake. There are a lot of decisions to be made. One of the things I love about creating a candy buffet is just how easy it is. Not to mention that it’s guaranteed to be a huge hit with the birthday boy or girl and guests. It all starts with a great assortment of candy. I’m excited to share the new line of Hershey birthday-themed products with you. Check out some of my favorites below, along with some tips to help you make a birthday party candy buffet for your next celebration.

I love the whole candy buffet idea. It not only serves as a sweet treat, but also as table decoration and something to fill those goodie bags. Whether you’re using the Hershey’s birthday-themed products in in goodie bags, for decorations or for party games and activities, the treats are crowd-favorites dressed in their birthday party best. Situated in colorful displays in the prime party supply zones, they’re easy to grab as you are shopping around the store and checking off your party shopping list.

JOLLY RANCHER Lollipops

You can find the full line of birthday-themed products from Hershey in the Celebrations aisle at Walmart stores nationwide and most birthday-themed products at other select retailers. I love that you can pop into Walmart and take care of all your birthday party needs.

From new Hershey’s Kisses Birthday Cake Candies to KIT KAT Miniatures to iconic HERSHEY’S Assorted Miniatures, your favorite Hershey products are now available designed for the birthday – sure to sweeten any celebration.

The new Hershey’s Kisses Birthday Cake Candies pack the taste of birthday cake into just one bite and complete with a satisfying crunch are perfect for any birthday theme. Aren’t they just adorable? I love dots!

How to make your own birthday party candy buffet:

Supplies:
Glass containers in different sizes and shapes
An assortment of Hershey candy
Cellophane or organza bags
Stick-on gems and foam shapes

optional items:
Candy scoops
Labels

To make a birthday party candy buffet you’ll need an assortment of your favorite candies, and glass containers in varying shapes sizes. I already had quite a few glass containers around the house, but picked a few more while I was at Walmart.

Just fill the containers with candy and arrange in a way that is easily accessible for guests.

How to Make a Birthday Party Candy Buffet

Instead of putting goodie bags together yourself, you can provide empty cellophane or organza bags that can be filled from the candy buffet. Kids will love filling the bags with their own Hershey favorites.

I used inexpensive plastic bags that zip close at the top, and provided an assortment of stick-on gems and foam shapes that the kids could use to decorate the bags.

The self sticking decorations won’t make a mess of your buffet table. The last thing you want near your treats is messy glue.

Birthday parties with Hersheys are so much fun!

The new Hershey birthday products are dressed in their party-best. Perfect for making your little one feel extra special on their big day! Have you tried any of the Hershey birthday-themed products yet?

Candy buffets are great for picky little ones like our son.
He’s also got nut allergies so I encourage anyone who hosts this remembers to put nut candies elsewhere.
