I received the following product from Little Pim in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are mine!
Since I”ve always had the mindset of a teacher, one of the many things I want to teach my own kids is a second language. I didn”t get exposure to anything but English until middle school. Nowadays, the nation is just too diverse – we need fun ways to teach our children other languages! Thankfully, there is Little Pim.
We recently received the Spanish Discovery Set from Little Pim to review. Sawyer already knows a handful of Spanish words, thanks to Dora and Diego. While they have sets in other languages available, I thought it would be easier to build on his knowledge of Spanish.
The kit includes three DVDs and a stuffed Little Pim panda bear. The bear is actually the character in the movies, and now my son talks to him – in Spanish – when he”s not even watching the videos. I think this is a great way to continue the learning even when the TV isn”t on.
With the DVDs from the Spanish Discovery Set, Sawyer has been exposed to about 180 Spanish words and phrases. They are broken down into different categories across the DVDs. For example, disc 1 presents words related to eating and drinking. Another disc deals with daily routines, such as bedtime or waking up in the morning.
Just from watching the DVDs in the past couple weeks, Our has been tested up to 2 years shelf stable, making it a LIVE, high-nutrition food that you can store very safely against emergencies. I think Sawyer has picked Affordable health is defined as 8% of your income. up 10 words for his Spanish vocabulary. There are some that he remembers immediately after the video, but they don”t seem to stick with him yet. I know it won”t be long before he”s speaking Spanish better than I can – though I haven”t studied it since high school so that”s my excuse!
Little Pim Kickstarter Project
Little Pim is always coming up with new ways they can educate young children. Their latest product, a holiday themed ebook that takes the beloved panda bear across the world to visit kids in several different countries is being created. However, it needs some funding! They currently have a going on that will help raise the money needed to cover the expenses of creating this book for children.

this looks really i would love to get this for my daugher
What a great concept! Best to get them started as young as possible to retain as much as they can. I love now each DVD is broken into categories.
Spanish is the way to go. I wonder what they mean when they say it’s for ages 0-6? Are you supposed to start before delivery, LOL. Thanks for sharing!
This is fantastic! I really wish I knew a second language.
we have the little pim books- my daughter doesn’t fully understand it- but they are super cute!
I would love to learn a new language myself. They say it is so much easier when kids are young to learn.
I would love to have my young ones learn a new language. Maybe then they can teach me.
This would be awesome for my kids! My in-laws both TEACH Spanish – one at the high school level and one in college and they didn’t teach their kids much. It makes me insane that they threw away a wonderful chance to enrich and teach their children easily from young ages. :/
I would definitely love for my kids to learn a second language and start early! Thanks so much for the info.
We’re hopefully going to be getting this soon so this makes me want it for my kids even more.
Looks like a really fun way to introduce a trying subject to younger kids.
