You might recall that I recently wrote a review of the Nature’s Sleep Vitex Memory Contour Pillow. But today I am excited to share my Nature’s Sleep Memory Foam Mattress review with you. When my Nature’s Sleep Jupiter Memory Foam Mattress arrived to my doorstep, I couldn’t have been any happier or more surprised. First, I was happy because I was desperate for a good nights sleep and had heard wonderful things about Nature’s Sleep memory foam mattresses. Second, I was surprised because I had envisioned 2 muscle-bulked men carrying a large, bulky mattress off of a truck. Instead, what I got is this…
What arrived to my porch, via my usual delivery person, was this long narrow box which I promptly drug into my living room. After the dogs gave the package their official inspection, I cut it open to see my memory foam mattress all rolled up in a tidy little package… so strange it seemed to me.
How on earth could this be a comfortable bed, I wondered? Luckily, I didn’t have to wait very long to find out because my brother was nearby to help me get it setup. Although it arrived in a tidy little package, this would be a two person job…. Well, I must confess that it was more like a one person job as I wasn’t very much help.
As it came out of the box, right before our eyes the mattress started to expand. You could actually hear it as it unraveled and expanded into it’s intended shape. This neat little phenomenon occurs because the the memory foam mattresses is Vacpaked. Basically, they suck all of the air out of the memory foam to condense the mattress to a real solid state. And solid it is. Although the package isn’t very large, it is quite heavy. What’s pretty great is that Nature’s Sleep is able to use the VackPak method to reduce the company’s carbon footprint which in turn reduces the consumers carbon footprint as well. I think this is pretty great!
And so the party began…
Whose bed is this anyway?
I know you must think that this review has gone to the dogs, but seriously it’s always a zoo at my house. After everyone in my family and extended family, including the family pets, checked out my new mattress it was finally my turn. I have to say that my first night on the bed I wasn’t so sure. Having never slept on memory foam before, it just felt different. Not bad. Just different. On the second night the magic began. When you first lay down on the mattress it feels firm, but then magically it softens up and conforms to your body. You sort of melt into it, as it hugs and supports your body perfectly. I used to wake up with pains and soreness over various parts of my body. Now that I sleep on a memory foam mattress from Nature’s Sleep, I just awake feeling well rested and ready for the day.
I have never slept better!
There are a few things that I would like to point out about the mattress. The outside cover of the mattress is so soft and velvety. It’s so plush that you won’t even want to put sheets on it. The antimicrobial cover is easily removable and can be laundered easily. I consider a bed like this an investment, so as such I recommend covering in a waterproof case to protect it from spills and accidents. It won’t take away from the softness and comfort of this bed at all.
I received the 8 inch Jupiter Memory Foam Mattress to review. Although it’s not as thick as some of the other mattresses options, it is just as comfortable. As you’ve probably figured out, I have two little dogs who like to sleep with me, so I wanted a mattress that would sit lower to the floor. This 8 inch option would also be great for parents of young children. This would have been the perfect mattress for me when my son was younger.

Thank you for the great review. Man oh man….one of these days I’m going to splurge and get one of these mattresses. I bet they’re super comfy.
It looks like the doggies approve. 🙂 I wouldn’t hesitate to jump on the mattress either. XD

It’s really unbelievable how this mattress can arrive in such a small box! I have no doubt in my mind that it would be the most comfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on, and I hope that some day I will experience this comfort! It made me smile to see that you allow your dogs on the bed. I also allow my dog to sleep there as well. 🙂 Thank you for your review and enjoy the comfort of your Nature’s Sleep Bed!

Love this mattress, it is so amazing that it comes rolled up and then just opens up to a great size. I really enjoy a good sleep and this kind of mattress looks amazing!

I love that this would feel firm at first, and contour itself to your body. I’ve never tried any memory foam mattresses before, but this sure looks like a good place to start! (It’s amazing how they got it into that box and then it expanded!!)

I would definitely want an extra cover too to protect it. Will make it last longer.
Send me to Jupiter (instead of the moon) to get a great night’s sleep on this Jupiter Mattress.
