Before trying Club Pick Up over the weekend, I was already already a huge fan of Sam’s Club Scan & Go app which lets you avoid the check-out lines. With this Sam’s Club Pick-up service you not only avoid the check-out lines, but walking the aisles too. And, the service completely free to use.
Order and schedule pickup for all the necessities–from groceries and household essentials to office supplies – everything is just a tap away, meaning you can have your Sam’s Club cake and pick it up too!

How to Place a Club Pickup Order
It’s so simple to do. Via your home computer or the handy dandy Sam’s Club app you shop for your items online, anytime, and schedule a pickup time. Can you imagine doing your grocery shopping while sitting at your child’s ball practice? Sam’s Club employees will fill your cart for you and have your items ready when you are ready to pick them up. Select Clubs have a designated Drive Thru area so you don’t even have to get out of your car.
Other Clubs like the one near me require you to go inside to pickup which is totally fine with me since I’m already saving loads of time by not walking the aisles. When I went inside my Club there was a kiosk conveniently located at the Member Services desk. All I had to do is scan my card or enter my order number.
Tip: You can even save more time by using the app to let them know you are on your way to pickup.

Even refrigerated and frozen items are available for Club Pickup. Your items will be stored in a temperature controlled room until you pick them up. Once you’ve scheduled your pickup, your items will be held for up to 2 days. So, if life throws you a curve ball and you can’t make it during your scheduled pickup window — no worries.
I’m one of those people who gets easily frustrated by websites and apps that aren’t user-friendly. There’s no learning curve required when you shop with the Sam’s Club App or via their website. You can shop by category or do a search to zero in on a specific product. When adding items to your online shopping cart, just be sure to select the “Pickup in a club” option. Easy peasy.
You have the convenience of paying for your order online or via the app. And, Next Day Pickup is available, although my Club had my order ready in a matter of hours. Sam’s Club will send you a receipt via email if you like and will notify you as soon as your order is ready. Super convenient.
On Saturday morning, instead of walking the aisles of my local Sam’s Club, my little girl and I checked out a new restaurant for brunch then spent a little time at the park next door. The weather was perfect in Florida this past weekend and it was so nice to spend that time outdoors.
We have been to this particular park so many times. Somehow, I had never noticed the little Garden Bistro that was nestled between the playground and the gardens. We snagged the very last table outside under the covered patio and had a wonderful view of Lake Mirror. This lovely morning wouldn’t have happened if not for the time I saved on my shopping at Sam’s Club. How convenient! I love that they give you up to 2 days to pick up your groceries. That’s awesome. Sometimes, things just happen and you miss appointments. Sam’s Club really knows how to care for their customers.
