As part of many New Years resolutions, people start to think about getting organized. Starting the new year off the right way can make things less stressful and make it easier to manage just about every aspect of your life. Having the right tech and online tools to organize your life is a great way to kick off the new year and stay on top of everything. I am glad to partner with Acer to share the Aspire One Cloudbook 14, along with some of my favorite online organizational tools.
For me, having the right laptop is key in keeping organized. When you are looking for a way to get organized, think about using the Acer Aspire One Cloudbook 14. A perfect sized notebook that comes in at 14 inches and weighs only 3.5lbs. It is a perfect solution for students or anyone who takes their notebook from home and school or work. It is just the right size for traveling, with a battery life of up to 14 hours. Cloudbooks are ideal for anyone who wants an online-oriented notebook, with 32 gbs of internal storage and has a full version of Windows 10. Blogging seems like a 24/7 job at times. I love that the Aspire One Cloudbook is a device I can comfortably take with me to work anywhere, anytime.
Since the Cloudbook features an Intel Celeron processora, for a faster online experience for websites and apps, it makes getting organized even easier.
Online Tools to Organize Your Life:
Windows 10 with Office 365 Personal: Since the Cloudbooks come with the full version of Windows 10 ad a 1 year subscription to Office 365 Personal, you are already on your way to getting organized. Use Office to write notes and memos. Start spreadsheets to document when bills are due and when they are paid. Create birthday cards, make business cards and letterhead. Office features programs to save you time and money.
Cloud storage: There are many great options for backing up your files online so that you can always have access to them With apps like OneDrive, Acer BYOC and DropBox, you can keep all of your files and pictures backed up and available from other devices.Â
Evernote: Evernote lets you change the way you keep everything organized. You can take notes, keep track of tasks, and save things you need off line. Because it can sync up between computers and mobile apps, you can always have it with you.
Google: Basically everything Google. Google offers more apps to keep you organized than anything else I know. With Google apps you can check your email, check your calendar, and make up a list of things to do today. Using google drive, you can make up notes, tasks, and spreadsheets. Google has even more apps to keep you organized and synced in with your mobile devices and Cloudbook, that you can always know what needs to be, how to do it and when it is due.
Microsoft OneNote: Use the OneNote app for free on your tablet, phone, and computer, so you can capture your ideas and to-do lists in one place wherever you are.
Mint: Mint is a way to keep track of your fiances all in one place. It lets you see all of your balances and your transaction in one place by pulling the information from your financial institution, so that you can see the entire picture.
LastPass: Lastpass is a way to manage all of your online passwords. Since using the same password for all sites is not safe, Lasspass can store all of the passwords you use and add them into the sites when you tell it to. Since the service is also password protected, it lends security to using it and is safer than having the computer remember the passwords.
Since another part of getting organized is making sure you are putting your money to its best use, the Aspire One Cloudbook 14 comes in at just $199 and is available at Walmart.
As a blogger and mom my day has a lot of different moving parts. To make sure I make deadlines and appointments, it’s imperative that I stay organized. Having great tech and online tools to organize my day is a huge help.
What ways are you planning on getting organized this year? Have you used these apps?
I need to check out Mint. It sounds like a great way to stay organized.
I use Google Drive to store a lot of the documents and spreadsheets I use for blogging. I also have a planner though, because sometimes it’s nice to write things down!
I think I use every single one of these already. I rely so much on Google Calendar and Evernote.
Lastpass is a life saver. I use it all the time, so I don’t have to keep my passwords written out on a pad.
I need to be better organized on my laptop. (I’m actually going to be in the market for a new one soon.) I have various spreadsheets to help me, but most of my files are stored on my laptop and an external harddrive so I don’t lose everything.
I may have to try some more of these programs. The new Aspire One Cloudbook sounds like an awesome laptop for working too.
I need to use my Cloud storage. I know it’s there, I just forget to use it and there are so many times it could come in handy.
These are all great tools and I use most of them in my everyday work. Thanks for the ideas on the others.
I need to figure out cloud storage. My husband keeps telling me it would really help me organize more effectively. I still rely on old school paper and pen. Gah!
My business basically lives and breathes google. Im addicted to google docs and how easy it is to create and share online.
